We would like to invite Hartlepool to join us in congratulating one of the town's incredibly talented young people, Chizaram!
Chizaram (or Zara as she is known by many) will be joining the cast of Tina - The Tina Turner Musical, playing the role of YOUNG TINA!

VONNE's 2024 Conference & AGM is all about Devolution & Community Cohesion, and we're excited to hear from grassroots orgs like @PoutNancy, Community Development Manager at The Big League CIC
What does community cohesion look like to you?
Join us be part of the conversation!
ALT VONNE branded image reading date and time of event with question, what does devolved power mean for the north east, and how can the charity sector be an active participant in shaping our region's future?

Today, I was in the North East visiting those who helped hold communities together during recent unrest. In the face of hatred and violence, their commitment to their faith and their local area has never wavered. A true privilege to hear about their work.

We've had a lot of negative press in Hartlepool as a result of the recent protests. However, the fundraiser that was set up for the town to support the local mosque and the affected businesses managed to raise £10,000 in just over 24 hours!
Hartlepool is an amazing and inclusive community when we pull together, and I couldn't be prouder of my town's response after those thuggish attacks.

PCC Matt Storey joined @JonathanBrash at the Salaam Centre to meet with local people.
In the wake of recent unrest, they discussed the impact on our community. Together, we are working to support those affected and build a safe, strong and confident Hartlepool💙
