Citizens rallied in front of the Government building in Tbilisi over concerns about animal cruelty and unlawful treatment of stray dogs by the Georgian Dream’s municipal authorities.
A recent report on TV Pirveli showed images of mass graves of stray dogs displaying signs of torture. The report also showed dead dog corpses being dumped into a mass burial site at night.
Earlier animal rights activists have reported stray dogs disappearing from the streets.

Allowing Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete under their national flags in international sporting events while Europe is witnessing the bloodiest war since 2022 is morally indefensible and contrary to the very ideals of sport.
If the rest of the world is willing to turn a blind eye, the European Union should make its position clear: Russian and Belarusian athletes must be barred from major international competitions, and visa restrictions should ensure that this policy is enforced.

Lawyer Ilya Monakh spoke about cases where conscripts are given a contract for military service hidden among ordinary applications and forms, and part of the document is filled out after they have signed it. He also reported on raids targeting men in shopping centers and checks of young people in the metro.
According to Monakh, in one military unit, a conscript was given a contract for military service along with other documents, in such a way that he didn't see the entire content and didn't understand what he was signing. After the young man signed, the blank parts of the document were filled out for him. The lawyer claims that such a contract is subsequently considered legally binding:
"They give you various applications, forms, and consent forms for the processing of personal data, and then, hidden among these documents in a large stack, they slip in this inconspicuous document with small print, where the word "contract" simply doesn't appear. This is a real situation, a real document that the conscript signed."
Monakh also spoke about a raid on conscripts in one of the shopping centers in St. Petersburg. According to him, one of the young men was stopped directly in the gym, his data were checked using a special tablet, and then he was handed a summons. Employees of the police, military recruitment office, prosecutor's office, and migration service participated in such checks. Documents were also checked from employees of the shopping center.
Separately, the lawyer spoke about checks of young men in the Moscow and St. Petersburg metro systems. According to him, cameras with facial recognition systems allow identifying people who are on the wanted list, after which the information is sent to police officers. These men are detained and taken to military recruitment offices.

Our long-range sanctions have targeted the Rostov region. The Kamensky Combine, a Russian defense industry enterprise involved in missile production, was hit.
A Pantsir-S2 system and a command and staff vehicle of the S-400 Triumf system were also hit. The total value of the air defense assets struck is around $70 million.
