There's been some absolutely dumb fanfiction discourse the past week, but "Authors Notes being informal when the story itself is polished is a sign of AI" is a whole new level.
I proofread and polish my chapters meticulously. My author's notes are lucky to get a spellcheck.
So, I finally sat down with my partner and we watched Witch Hat Atelier in two, multi-hour sittings.
...I am...changed, as a person. Two episodes in, we both knew we were watching something special. By the credits of the finale, we both just sort of sat in silence.

I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning, the senior Senator from Kentucky. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history. I told him we want to see him back at work as soon as possible.
