In Minnesota it is pretty clear that the biggest liability for both political parties is their respective left wing and right wing fringes. The fanatics reinforce negative stereotypes about the normal people in each party. People are sick of crazy and just want normal.

There is no stupid fight that Trump 2.0 won't pick. Hutchinson spoke at our Principles First Summit a few years back and was very poised. It was also clear that all the drama had taken a personal toll too, sadly
A good outcome for the administration on this is a very quick dismissal. A bad outcome is non-stop discovery. They really, really don't want that. There is no good outcome for the administration on this. This is petty, stupid vindictiveness all the way down.

You don’t have to like every state’s election laws. But if a state adopts them lawfully, courts shouldn’t rewrite them. Today’s Supreme Court decision reaffirmed a basic constitutional principle: states have the authority to administer elections under their own laws. That’s federalism. That’s limited government.

The Constitution cannot be rewritten by executive order. Today’s Supreme Court decision reaffirms a fundamental principle: constitutional rights may be changed only through the constitutional process — not by presidential decree.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court has struck down President Trump's executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, reaffirming the more than 100-year-old understanding that nearly all of those born in the United States are citizens. In a divided decision in the case Trump v. Barbara, the Supreme Court found that Mr. Trump's policy is unlawful. cbsn.ws/4awHx8l

"It's such a waste of taxpayer money...how much more money is it going to cost to fix an issue that didn't exist in the first place. He can't fix the algae so he's threatening handcuffs." One year ago, Minnesota lost Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, her husband Mark, and their dog Gilbert. This sign is in my yard today. "Stand up for what you believe in, especially if that thing is justice and peace." My thoughts and prayers are with all who knew them.
