The insidious part of Nicki being a republican puppet is that her chances of actually converting young people & undecided voters to republicans is highly unlikely. Her value lies in republicans using her as a minstrel clown. ‘Look at what we can make desperate black celebs do’

what if there was a type of bourgeoisie that wasn't the big owners of factories. what if there was a type of bourgeoisie under them, a smaller, little bourgeoisie. i wonder what that would be called
Airbnb hosts are melting down over a new policy banning them from making guests complete tasks that “would typically be performed by a cleaner,” like “stripping the bed, taking trash offsite, or washing and putting away dishes.”

I can't get over this photo. It's the kind of thing that would launch a thousand schizo tracts in the 1990s and vindicate countless more in the years following. You'd see it on posters declaring Trump the Antichrist. Maybe the defining image of Trump II?

Ironically most of the gas stations and liquor stores in Detroit are owned by Chaldeans who really have nothing to do with Arabs and would be mad if you called them that

Haynes is critical of Arab owned businesses in Detroit: “I know some good Arabs, my issue is with (El-Sayed). He knows what his community has done. They own all the gas stations, now they’re buying soul food restaurants. Everything is in a Black, urban community.”

AIPAC is set to put millions more dollars into the race to try and defeat our movement. We beat over $30 million in AIPAC spending in the primary...help us beat them again.

Will we continue to have a rubber-stamp Republican Senate for Trump and his billionaire pals?
Or will we elect leaders like Abdul El-Sayed who will take on the oligarchs and fight for working families?
MICHIGAN: Join me on Sunday and Monday to get out the vote for Abdul.

Sorry guys, we’re gonna have to start garnishing the wages of teachers and social workers so we can afford the 55% increase in our Department of War budget.
That Iran War isn’t gonna pay for itself.
BREAKING: The Trump administration is reportedly preparing to pursue wages and benefits of borrowers with defaulted federal student loans, per Forbes.
The Education Department is working with the Treasury Department to hire private debt collection agencies.
Borrowers in default may face administrative wage garnishment of up to 15 percent of their earnings without a court order.

GM just announced the biggest stock buyback in automotive industry history.
Instead of investing in their workers or new product lines, GM executives are robbing from the future to pay themselves and their shareholders today.
Stock buybacks should be illegal.

I do have to point out here that while Trump's restructuring of America around a supreme presidency is more extreme than everything we've ever seen in our lifetimes, it's not an aberration.
If anything, it's the logical conclusion of decades of Congress declining in power, as dysfunction has made it unable to do its basic job.
Even before Trump, we have seen decades of both the President and the Supreme Court stepping in and basically assuming more and more indirect legislative powers because Congress is too partisan and gridlocked to pass major legislation anymore. Our lawmakers are constantly locked in petty squabbles. They mostly just pass overbloated omnibus bills that do a thousand little things for each special interest and nothing of consequence for the people. Half of all the new senators and congressmen these days seem to retire after one or two terms not out of some principled self-term-limiting, but out of a soul-crushing realization that nothing they're doing matters.
It's not hard to understand why there's a certain group of voters that likes the idea of a president who just steps in and declares, I'll get this done since no one else is doing it. It's the same reason that in the late Roman Republic, plenty of the citizenry were excited about the country being reorganized as the Roman Empire. Because the system was so clearly broken that one guy just stepping in and getting things done seemed like a breath of fresh air.
We have legislative supremacy in the United States of America. Congress is the preeminent branch of our government. It's foundational to our republic and that can probably explain why it was defined first in Article I.
We're not going to get control of our country back until more people understand that We the People are the Big Cheese in this republic and the president is not a tribune of the people because we already have people in Congress to represent us. We don't elect kings, we elect presidents to be the executor of the laws Congress creates and passes, to be our CIC during time of war, to represent our country before the world and to defend our constitutional rights. We entrust him for a temporary period of time to do this for us. The president ANSWERS to us, We the People, for the faithful execution of our laws and the president ANSWERS to our courts for proper fidelity to the United States Constitution. An American president is answerable to pretty much the entire nation. NOT the other way around.
What I'm getting at is that ultimately our country's posture towards the conflict in Ukraine is up to us, We the People. Although these numbers can fluctuate depending on general sympathy or the extent of military aid and humanitarian assistance, the American public by and large is highly supportive of Ukraine in their gallant fight against the invader Russia, with strong support holding tight in the 60%-70% range the last I checked. President Trump's obvious bias with the invader Russia and his actions that are clearly intended to help Russia reach their goal of successful conquest of Ukraine is 180 degrees different from where the American population is. Remember, the president answers to everyone in a constitutional federalist democratic republic. He works for us. WE THE PEOPLE are the Big Cheese. The President is NOT a king. We can demand through our Congress that we regain control of this country from a tyrannical despotic president who views the country as his own personal plaything of which he and he alone gets to decide its global positioning. We the People need to get Congress back in session so that it can assert its supremacy over an out-of-control president who wants to align the country with dictators and abandon the free world to the extreme detriment of us all.
Ultimately the bigger question isn't even about Ukraine.
The bigger question is do you think that the United States of America should be a part of the free world, or do you think that the United States of America should belong to the Axis of Evil.
President Donald Trump prefers the latter which is in sharp contrast to the loftier and more aspirational ideals of America.
