While we're talking re-election, another prominent House member, @jordanteuscher, faces a challenge from Scott Stephenson, executive director of Utah's Fraternal Order of Police. Teuscher authored the controversial public labor union collective bargaining ban. @abc4utah #utpol

What is going to happen with public Ed funding in Utah? The appropriations committee cut funding last year. What is going to happen? I am worried what this means for our kids. @DrABBollinger

Friends, with the threat of rising prices due to Trump’s tariffs, Utah purchased twice as many orange construction barrels this season to maximize our spending. We’re storing those extra barrels at random intersections throughout the state along your commute. #utpol

Respectfully, @CandicePierucci -- the word "parent" or "parents" doesn't even appear in Utah's Constitution. And further, the Utah's Constitution actually gives "general control and supervision" of public education to the @UTBoardofEd.
But, state code created in 2019 says it, FWIW. 👇
The Utah State Constitution states that “parents have the primary responsibility for the education of their children.” This past year, thousands of families have had access to the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program to customize their child’s learning experience. The decision made by Judge Scott is judicial activism; it is not the job of judiciary to set policy on the bench and infuse personal opinion and ideology into their decisions. We are not done fighting this fight and will appeal this decision to the Utah Supreme Court.
