Missourians aren't sitting by to watch DC politicians take power away from voters. By voting NO on Prop A by November 3, Missouri can stop politicians' power grab!

Missourians won’t agree on every issue, proposition, or amendment. But when voters approve a citizen-led initiative, politicians in Jefferson City shouldn’t be able to take it away just because they disagree. Vote YES on Amendment 6 to help protect the people’s decision.

Our vote should mean something. They are not suggestions to politicians. They are the will of the people.

A state representative, who also works for the states largest school voucher pass through organization @HerzogEducation, helps me understand how a debit card is different than a virtual wallet. Whatever it takes to get around the state constitution and get money away from public schools and into the hands of those “verified marketplace vendors.” Just a normal day in Jeff City. Give them credit, their message is paying off for them. While the @MOEducation funding formula will not be fully met, and Missouri will continue to be one of the lowest state funders of public schools, and they continue to push for rural school consolidation, I bet MoScholars voucher$ will keep pulling more money from state funds for those verified marketplace vendors. Also looking likely one of their biggest advocates will be the next Commissioner of Education. But remember, it’s wise to follow the money when trying to figure out why things happen in politics. @MASALeaders @MissouriSBA @MSTA @MissouriNEA
Defeating so-called “right-to-work” showed the power of Missourians standing together. Amendment 6 helps carry that victory forward, strengthening protections for our decision and preserving our ability to bring issues directly to voters.
On November 3, vote #YesOn6!
