Robinhood Chain is recording over $6B in weekly DEX volume. But I think the bigger opportunity is in the infrastructure being built around tokenized stocks.
I've been looking into Robinhood's tokenization ecosystem, particularly where trading activity is concentrated and which projects could benefit as adoption grows.
The numbers are worth examining.
โ Robinhood Chain by the numbers
According to DefiLlama's October 22 snapshot:
โ DeFi TVL: $1.15B
โ RWA assets: ~$330M
โ 24H DEX volume: ~$890M
โ 7D DEX volume: $6.13B
One important distinction: these figures represent broader network activity, not exclusively tokenized stock trading.
Looking specifically at CoinGecko's Robinhood Chain Stocks Ecosystem category, reported 24H volume stands at $176.2M.
Three assets account for approximately 69% of that volume:
โข SpaceX: $57.65M
โข SPY: $31.86M
โข NVIDIA: $31.32M
This tells me that trading interest is concentrated around recognizable financial assets.
But trading volume is only one part of the opportunity.
โ Where I see the opportunity
Robinhood already has brokerage distribution. What interests me is the infrastructure that could make tokenized equities useful across DeFi.
I'm particularly watching liquidity venues, lending markets, equity derivatives, tokenized funds, and the tools supporting their development.

For me, the indicators that matter are:

My view:
Robinhood's tokenization opportunity isn't simply about bringing more stocks onchain.
It's about what happens after those assets become tradable.
If tokenized equities develop deep liquidity, reliable lending markets, and broader financial utility, the infrastructure supporting them could become just as important as the assets themselves.
That's where I'll be directing more of my research.

and honestly, i've had one of the best experiences with it so far.
getting it ready was pretty straightforward. on Windows, you just need Docker Desktop, open VEX and let everything finish downloading. create your password, add your OpenRouter API key, set up your wallet and you're ready.
my PC is pretty slow, so it took me a little longer, but once everything was running, the experience was smooth.

i've already generated some volume and also tried a 1-hour trading mission.
during that mission, i generated around $250 in volume and made a tiny bit of profit.
nothing crazy, but watching the trade happen in real time was genuinely fun.

Most crypto "agents" are judged by the chat window.
That is the wrong first cut. The first cut must be where the keys live, and who is allowed to sign.
@ProjectVEXai is a self-custodial desktop agent. It is not just a chatbot with a withdraw button.
Right now, the category looks like a conversation. A user types. A model answers. Somewhere off-screen a wallet can move.
This causes two mistakes at once. People score the product on how clever the reply feels. And they treat custody as a toggle instead of the product.

4. Inference uses the user's own model account. The keys still never leave.
That is the product. Features sit on top of it. They do not replace it.
