Much has already been written in righteous response to Obama's ignorant and hateful diatribe in Belfast targeting the Jewish People of Israel. I add three observations to the factual record: 1) Under the Ottoman Empire, 90% of agricultural land in Palestine was classified as "Miri", State land not owned by any individual -- Jew, Gentile, or Muslim. Palestinian Arabs did not hold title. Much of it remains public land in Israel today. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of acres of agricultural land, desert and wasteland, malarial swamps, were sold at extortionate prices to Jews and Jewish land funds like the JNF. None of this land was "taken" from Palestinian Arabs. 2) When Obama kicked off his Middle East tour in Egypt in 2009, he similarly apologized for Israel's existence with reference solely to the Holocaust and the need for a Jewish refuge. Not a word, then or now, about 3,000 years of Jewish history, blood, toil, and nation-building in the land, nor Jewish indigenous rights as recognized in international law in the 1920s -- twenty years before the Holocaust. 3) Obama is an extremely well-educated and articulate former American president. His use of the adolescent gutter term "taken off" to describe how Israel came to hold the land was not only false, but deliberately crude and intended to evoke Antisemitic tropes at a time when Jews are being hunted and murdered for their religious and national identity. Obama's speech betrayed what many of us long suspected: he is a flag bearer for those seeking to once again marginalize and dispossess the oldest extant indigenous People in the Middle East. If, on the other hand, and as many Jews referred to him while in office, Obama is truly a "mensch", he should do the right thing: issue a correction, retract his provably false claims, and apologize.

If Islam is a religion of peace and their adherents insist on self-determination for the Palestinian Arabs, why do these leaders wage war against Jews, Christians, Kurds, and Druze; why did they deny Palestinians sovereignty when they controlled the land; and why don't they allow free and fair elections in their countries?

Full-time Hezbollah shill and part-time Reuters propagandist Maya Gebeily parrots the failed UNIFIL commander in Lebanon, claiming that Israel is violating UN Security Council resolutions by destroying Hezbollah infrastructure: "Major General Diodato Abagnara of Italy spoke to Reuters in southern Lebanon at a position operated by the UN peacekeeping force known as UNIFIL, ​which has been monitoring hostilities in southern Lebanon for nearly 50 years." To state the obvious, if the Lebanese government had fulfilled its obligations under UNSCR 1701 to disarm Hezbollah 20 years ago, there would be no need for Israel to be doing it today. Reuters: all propaganda, all the time.

Regime mouthpiece Reuters is reporting that Iran has "conveyed conditions" to re-engage in "talks" to end the war with the U.S. Isn't that special?

Jews living in their ancestral homeland, Judea & Samaria ('West Bank'), were provided that right by the League of Nations in 1920, a right confirmed by Articles 75-80 of the UN Charter and even agreed to by the Palestinians at Oslo. The British government is acting in violation of international law, the UN Charter, and the Geneva Conventions by seeking to expel Jews from the West Bank and sanctioning them. I wonder how the comedy team of Burnham and Miliband would like it if governments began sanctioning British citizens living in Gibraltar, the Falklands, and other countries outside England. We may soon find out.

The Palestinians and their Western supporters relish the drama of accusing Israel of "genocide". But, is there any doubt in anyone's mind on either side of the conflict that if the roles and military capabilities were reversed and Israel had attacked Palestinian civilians on October 7th... ... the Palestinians would use their most powerful weapons to wipe out the Jewish population overnight?

Islam is an innately Imperial and violent movement that has killed, forcibly converted, ethnically cleansed, and enslaved literally hundreds of millions of people over 14 centuries. And it is on the move again, all over the Western world. This is well-documented History. It's not "racist" to point this out, to defend against Islamic conquest, or to ally with Peoples and nations who are currently resisting it.

Israel was able to build a multi-ethnic powerhouse of a State with 20% of its population Arab-Muslim. But Sadiq Khan, like the Palestinian Arabs, believes "Palestine" must be Jew-free. Over our dead bodies, mate.

How typically cynical of Reuters, which has rightly acquired the reputation of being one of the most Antisemitic media groups in the world, to use a Jewish Holocaust survivor as a tool to attack the ascendant German AfD party. Because Reuters has no capacity for self-criticism or the ability to see that Antisemitism is now a fixture of the political Left, particularly in journalism.

Reuters, assisted by its bullpen of apologists for the 7th century death cult, rushes to the aid of the Islamists, as the American body politic increasingly wakes up to the Jihad on the homefront. "If you can wrap yourself in the flag and you can criticize ​Muslims and Islam that means you don't really have to deal ​with the issues," he [Aaron Hughes, Rochester University] said in a telephone interview, calling ⁠it "fear-mongering.... You're taking this gross characterization of a community and making connections with Hamas, with Iran I find it most shocking that there's this conflation," he said. A so-called Islamic scholar finds it "shocking" that there is conflation between Islam and the genocidal terror group Hamas, when surveys show nearly half of American Muslims view Hamas favorably. Must be a typo. Reuters: the Jihadist propaganda wing.

Reuters too is a recognized propaganda outfit, anti-American and Antisemitic. Its parent company, Thomson Reuters, is a non-US corporation; many of its executives, top editors and hundreds of its correspondents are from other countries. Thomson Reuters is also opaque in its financial reporting. The company refuses to say in which Middle Eastern countries it makes its money and with what products and services. Reuters is very concerned over Iranian civilians deaths in the war, ostensibly caused by U.S. military action, but has yet to acknowledge the reality of (or even investigate) the tens of thousands of Iranian civilians murdered by the Iranian regime.
