From fleeing conflict to navigating complex displacement realities in Kenya, refugees and asylum seekers face unique psychological strains. Yet their critical perspectives remain underrepresented in formal policy frameworks and program formulation.
This session will centre on listening directly to people with lived experiences and frontline practitioners. Together, we will examine frontline MHPSS realities, address critical service gaps amid funding cuts, and discuss how survivor voices can co-design better support systems and shape inclusive national policies.
