I abhor sport.
I would like to have it removed from the nightly news.
It is cultural clutter and it should be relegated to a niche interest.
Sorry but if you don’t say “big stretch” and “big yawn” when your pet stretches and yawns, you’re actually a sociopath.

Is it just me, or does modern music and film just not have the same staying power as the music and film of bygone eras?
I couldn’t name a single movie or song from the last decade that will still be talked about in 20, 30, 40, 50 years

I don't like these new Narnia Hardcovers. I know some of you do. Let me explain.
1. I recognize the Art Nouveau line work and recognize it's quality, but I don't think it's the right influence for Narnia or Lewis artwork. Not remotely English enough.
2. The colors are too many and in some cases too saturated. Especially the title gradients, which are the worst part of the designs. While not reaching lyschadelic levels, they remind me of Tumblr artstyles that infected nearly every industry in the mid 2010s. Too many colors.
3. Some of them are poor compositions for book covers. Silver Chair is the worst offender here, where the colors draw the eye to a spot above the title.
All in l, the one I almost like is Dawn Treader. Most of it works, including layout. Except for that dang title gradient. 🙄

I left the house on outings both days this weekend and now I’m overstimulated and didn’t get my requisite rest and bed rotting hours in so everyone just SHUT UP
