The "crimes" for which these Jewish businesses are being targeted in Philadelphia:
Goldie, Dizengoff, and K'Far Cafรฉ:
Co-owned by chef Michael Solomonov and his business partner.
Following the October 7, 2023 attacks, they donated $100,000 to United Hatzalah, an Israeli volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization.
Their crime? Helping provide medical care.
Schlesinger's Deli
Hosted a fundraiser in October 2023 for the local Jewish Federation's Philly Stands with Israel emergency relief fund.
Crime? Helping fund emergency services in the immediate aftermath of Oct 7.
Huda
A burger shop that has no publicly reported political donations; the owner previously trained in Israel.
Crime? Training to cook in Israel.
Mac Mart
A macaroni-and-cheese shop that has made no political or international donations. Its Jewish co-owner stated she has never brought politics into her business and believes she was added to the boycott list simply for wearing a Star of David necklace.
Crime? Not hiding her Jewish identity.
(Interestingly, businesses not owned by Jews that support Israel aren't being targeted.)

Okayโฆ I was a cop for 20 years in the NYPD. I retired as a lieutenant. Hereโs my take:
The islamification of the NYPD didnโt start with Mamdani, as much as I want to blame him. It started with de Blasio.
Heโs the one who wanted literal boatloads of recruits from all the โ-istanโ countries. They came in as traffic agents and had pathways to becoming cops. We all saw it coming. Thereโs a Muslim officers fraternal club and Pakistani officers fraternal club that helps with the transitions.
As for the summons, itโs a bs summons (jaywalking) that Iโd be ashamed to write. However, the copsโ actions towards the woman and her dog are overreach. Grabbing her and grabbing the dog leash isnโt NYPD SOP. Police work isnโt supposed to be personal, but they both made it so.
Guys with time and experience like myself are leaving the job. Good candidates are going to other departments. NYC used to be a great place to be a cop, but Democrat Socialists decided that criminals are better than cops. This is whatโs left.
Elections have consequences.
Two Muslim cops in New York stopped a nurse for no apparent reason other than that she was walking her dog.
They cornered her and threatened to seize her dog. When confronted, they got angry and couldnโt say what law she had broken.
This is what happens when you give these people power. All I can say is that she was lucky there were passersby, because it was 3 AM and things couldโve ended much worse.

Theyโre threatening Jewish businesses because theyโre not scared to threaten Jewish businesses.
Itโs fun, performative, and low-risk.
But it shouldnโt be. People should be scared to behave like this.

This โBoycott Rideโ in Philadelphia is the Leftโs pro-Hamas, Jew-hating, BDS assholes-on-wheels.
Every Democrat of conscience should condemn this sick parade of rank antisemitism.
Iโm glad to see the steps @PhillyMayor is taking to ensure the safety of the Jewish community.

Dear Jew-hating Philly "Boycott Ride" organizers:
If you don't like our small business owners, wait till you meet our lawyers.
Here is what @NJACLaw has already done in preparation for your antisemitic stunt:
1) Enforcement letters to the AG, DA, and Police Commissioner, reminding them which statutes apply, which specific crimes trigger it, and providing the proof of motive.
2) Preservation notices to each of you, explaining that litigation is anticipated and that deleting relevant evidence to prevent its use in court can lead to sanctions, including a jury instruction that the missing evidence was unfavorable to you.
3) Organized volunteers and lawyers on site so we have a litigation-grade record ready. No he-said/she-said disputes this time.
Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Game on.
Tidying my house before a short trip and I feel the need to put away the Judaica and any books that the pet sitter could have opinions about. (Can't do anything about the mezuzah on the front door.) Had a few moments where I wondered if I was being paranoid.
Then I open local social media to a post about excellent Israeli dates at a local store and see that it has dozens of comments that (1) repeat the bullshit genocide stuff, (2) insult Jews, and (3) threaten the store.
So yeah, putting the Judaica away and starting the search for a Jewish pet sitter for the future, just to be safe. Welcome to super liberal blue wave America.
I want to believe there is more to the story here but I can't see what it might be. As a proud member of an @NYPDnews family I am horrified. As someone paying attention to what's happening in New York and our country, I am sadly not shocked.
BRB. Gonna get a dog today. Or two.

#44, standing up.
It is heartbreaking to see antisemitism in my hometown. I was born in Wyncote, near Philadelphia, and it makes me angry and ashamed to see hatred tolerated there.
The numbers show this is not an abstract concern. The Anti-Defamation League recorded 465 antisemitic incidents across Pennsylvania in 2024, an 18% increase over 2023. It tracked 189 incidents in Philadelphia and 51 in Montgomery County. These reports include harassment, vandalism, and assault; they are not all classified as crimes. (adl.org, philadelphia.adl.org)
Hateful expression harms more than its immediate target. In a 2025 survey of Jewish Americans, 79% said they were concerned about antisemitism, and 52% said they had worried about their personal safety because of their identity. Nearly half reported taking steps to increase their security. A research review also found that exposure to hate is associated with worse psychological well-being, more negative stereotypes, and less trust between groups. (philadelphia.adl.org, pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov)
It takes me back to the racism I experienced in the 1960s: signs throughout the South declaring that Black people could be refused service, along with separate โwhiteโ and โcoloredโ signs on bathrooms and drinking fountains,โno niggersโ. I remember what that hatred looked and felt like. We cannot accept it in any form, directed at any people.
I wish I could be there to stand with those protesting HATE. I am asking elected officials and other leaders in Philadelphia: Where are the clear statements condemning antisemitism? When hateful language is excused or repeated, it can make hostility seem acceptable and deepen fear and division. Leaders should speak plainly and consistently: antisemitism and hate have no place in our communities.
What the hell? We have to speak up.

In Fahrenheit 451, the chief book-burner, Captain Beatty, describes how reading became obsolete because the public demanded increasingly fast-paced entertainments, and those entertainments slowly corroded their ability to think. โBooks cut shorter. Condensations. Digests, tabloids. Everything boils down to the gag, the snap ending. Classics cut to fit fifteen-minute radio shows, then cut again to fill a two-minute book column โฆ Many were those whose sole knowledge of Hamlet was a one-page digest in a book that claimed, โNow at last you can read all the classics.โ โฆ School is shortened, discipline relaxed, philosophies, histories, languages dropped, English and spelling gradually neglected, finally almost completely ignored. Life is immediate, the job counts, pleasure lies all about after work. Why learn anything save pressing buttons, pulling switches?โ
In this passage Ray Bradbury foretells the intellectual hollowing out of the working class, the advent of AI-generated โsummariesโ of classic novels, the attention-frying culture of short-form video, the relaxation of educational standards into non-existence. All of this in a book published in 1953.

FOLLOW THE MONEY: Tracking Another $30 Million in U.S. Counterterrorism Funding to the Taliban
As your Senators continue funding the Taliban, let's talk about a recent payment. First, in the interest of full disclosure, there are several different buckets of funding that ultimately benefit the Taliban. As most of you know, I have focused extensively on the counterterrorism (CT) funding. Why? Because that is where the lack of transparency becomes particularly important.
CT funds are dark money. These payments are not publicly reported, meaning someone in Congress can look you in the eye, hold a press conference, and tell you they stopped the money going to the Taliban, knowing full well that this particular funding will never appear in the public reporting. What they seem to forget, however, is that there are two sides to every transaction.
If the U.S. government refuses to disclose how much money it is delivering, you can simply work to document the transaction from the Taliban's side. Several years ago, they apparently thought we were too dumb to figure that out. Then, as more people began tracking the flights carrying payments from Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, to Kabul, Afghanistan, the deliveries were moved to Doha, Qatar.
But late last month, we identified something interesting involving the counterterrorism funding. On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the U.S. delivered what appeared to be approximately $30 million to the Taliban. This time, however, the delivery did not take place in Doha. It took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It appears that at least the CIA and State Department played a role in this particular payment, although the Department of War is also involved in this counterterrorism funding.
Was this an attempt to conceal the delivery from those of us tracking these transactions? I cannot say for certain. But if that was the objective, IT FAILED.
And to add insult to injury, there is another important question: Who received the money?
The payment was handed over to Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, the head of the Taliban's General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI). Wasiq is a former Guantanamo Bay detainee and one of the five Taliban prisoners released by the U.S. in 2014 in exchange for Bowe Bergdahl, whom I, and many others, consider a traitor.
Let that sink in. These fools are paying off terrorists while both al-Qaeda and the Islamic State-Khorasan Province (ISKP) have grown to their strongest levels in Afghanistan ever in the last handful of years. The American people deserve a full accounting of every dollar delivered to the Taliban, regardless of which funding authority, government agency, or financial mechanism is used to move it. Congress should be demanding those answers, not hiding behind reporting requirements that allow certain payments to remain out of public view.
And for every elected official who thinks they can keep their hands clean of this, understand that a percentage of this funding has been diverted to support al-Qaedaโs planned attacks on the U.S. homeland. There are plenty of us willing to testify about the delivery of these funds, including the monthly payments made to the sons of Osama bin Laden. You are done claiming ignorance about funding the next 9/11.

Anyone who responsibly advocates for Jews would not spend the last 48 hours gaslighting the shit out of us. Believe it or not, Jews understand how elections impact our lives more than non-Jews. Sit the fuck down.
You can watch this one-minute clip and arrive at one of two diametrically opposed conclusions: 1) this is wonderful as it demonstrates how inclusive Americans are; 2) this is astoundingly dangerous as it highlights some existential dangers looming in the future. Only one of those two reactions can be correct.
