A manipulative pervert has avoided a prison sentence after sexually assaulting a 7 year-old girl.
Jonathan Vickers, formerly of Tockwith, North Yorkshire appeared at York Crown Court where he was sentenced after pleading guilty to one count of sexual assault against a female child aged under 13.
The court was told that Vickers, who is unemployed had gained access to the young girl as he regularly babysat her.
The abuse took place as he babysat the girl. He exposed himself to the confused and shocked child. He went on to kiss and molest her whilst gaining sexual gratification from rubbing her against his exposed private parts.
The judge handed remorseless Vickers 15 months imprisonment which was suspended for 18 months
A sexual Harm prevention order for 15 years was put in place and he was told to register as a sex offender for 10 years.
