I believe this will be considered one of the most important videos in US history from this time.
In a just world she would be in prison. I know her daughter was 23 and deemed to have capacity, but when your own mother pushes an agenda so forcefully, can your decision truly be yours?

Those who preach peace through capitulation won't tell you what russian occupation means.
russians occupied Izyum for less than 6m.
After liberation, we found mass graves of 447 ppl. Most of them were civilians — 215 women, 194 men and 5 children. Many bodies had signs of violent death.
This is what people with proud 'Christian' in their bios are pushing Ukraine for.

It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.
US has not spent $350B on Ukraine. It has spent $132B, $33B of that is money. The rest is $21B in loans, repaid from frozen Russian assets, $4B in humanitarian aid, and the vast majority, $74B is military equipment.
Half that equipment is new, made in the US. The other half is old stockpile equipment, which soon would have had to be demilitarized at great cost. The replacement equipment is made in the US, so the money stays in the US.
Meanwhile, the EU and European countries have spent a combined $271B, more than twice as much as the US.

Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region, and Kharkiv. A targeted Russian ballistic missile strike specifically against energy infrastructure – the very infrastructure covered by the ceasefire announced by the American President. The strike was entirely deliberate and demonstrative in its scale – Russia has never before shown such ostentatious disrespect toward the United States. Russia does not consider the American President’s statements strong. Unfortunately, at least 600,000 people are now without power. Outages could become even more widespread. Unfortunately, there is significant damage to facilities and equipment – at 26 facilities of our power system and four facilities in the oil and gas sector. I am grateful to the repair crews, all Ukrainian energy workers, and the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine for all their efforts to address the aftermath of this Russian strike. Tragically, there have been fatalities and injuries.
We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond – and to respond forcefully. Russia has squandered the opportunity for de-escalation and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation. We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions on Russia, especially since the Lindsey Graham bill, which was recently passed and signed into law, authorizes and regulates such measures. The American President has all the effective and necessary tools to bring peace closer through strength, justice, and pressure on the aggressor. We ask for additional packages of Patriot missile interceptors for Ukraine. It is entirely fair for us to tell the United States, Europe, and all our partners that no country in the world should be left alone to face such a deranged and pro-war actor as Russia. I am grateful to everyone who helps Ukraine! Peace can only come through strength, and we ask America to remember this principle of Reagan’s. Glory to Ukraine!

Sarah, I'm an American Army veteran living in Ukraine, and I find your argument absolutely astonishing.
You're frustrated with British politicians, so your solution is to express admiration for Vladimir Putin?
Let's talk about the man you're defending.
Putin's government has blocked Facebook and Instagram, restricted X, disrupted YouTube, and imposed restrictions on WhatsApp and Telegram.
Independent journalism has been systematically suppressed. Political opponents have been imprisoned, driven into exile, or silenced. Russians can face criminal prosecution for publicly criticizing the war in Ukraine.
And let's not forget that Putin launched the largest invasion of a European country since World War II, resulting in hundreds of thousands of casualties and the destruction of entire Ukrainian cities.
Meanwhile, you're sitting comfortably in Britain, publicly criticizing your government, calling your political leaders incompetent, and openly praising a foreign authoritarian leader.
You know why you can do that, Sarah?
Because you enjoy political freedoms that Putin's government systematically denies its own citizens.
You can protest, criticize your prime minister, support the opposition, and vote for a different government.
Try organizing a genuine opposition movement against Putin in Moscow and see how that works out.
I've lived in Ukraine. I've seen the consequences of Russian aggression firsthand. This isn't some fucking political football to me.
You don't have to like your government. You don't have to trust your politicians. And you certainly don't have to defend every Western foreign policy decision.
But confusing your dissatisfaction with British politics for a reason to admire Vladimir Putin is an extraordinary failure of critical thinking.
You say you want a proper debate?
Then start by explaining why you admire a government that denies its own citizens freedoms you take for granted every single day.
Because hating your politicians doesn't make Putin your friend.

The idea of this is not to bring diesel prices down. The idea is to stop Ukraine from striking russian refinaries and safe russian energy sector.
Now every strike on russian refinaries by Ukraine will be treated as attack on American energy supply.
