Passengers on a flight from Dallas to Newark were ordered back to their assigned seats after — in an attempt to gain more social distance —they moved to empty rows. They were told they had not paid for exit row seats, which are more expensive. nyti.ms/2AKv3wi

Teachers are not babysitters. Babysitters get paid way more per hour.

Why are athletes being complimented and celebrated for placing the health of their families ahead of their livelihood, but teachers are being denigrated and demonized for placing the health of their families ahead of their livelihood?

The Frankens grieve for George Floyd and his family. The horror of this video speaks to the scope of brutal injustices suffered by people of color before they were captured by cell phone cameras. This is all so incomprehensibly tragic.

THE SUMMER SLIDE🚴‍♂️ Closures may prompt SEVER SLIDES in MATH, READING! Lower-income families & those without virtual learning will suffer most. Students' gains in math skills may dive by 50% & reading skills by 30%, but organizations are offering at-home programs.@BlueStreakMath

I think we have to distinguish between small, well-established effects (e.g., growth mindset) and those for which there is no reliable evidence (BrainGym, learning styles). Given that growth mindset interventions typically take less than an hour, not using them seems odd to me.

The Trump White House has ignored the advice of disease experts, medical professionals, and scientists—and now they’re rejecting CDC guidance for businesses and workers. They’ve botched the national response to this crisis and we’ll hold them accountable. apnews.com/7a00d5fba3249e573…

Totally unjustified and purely partisan. Just goes to show that a president with a sufficiently corrupt and compliant Attorney General needn’t even bother to abuse his pardon power to bail out his loyal henchmen. foxnews.com/politics/drops-d…

As I said during Bill Barr's confirmation, the Attorney General needs to be the people's lawyer. Yet again, Barr's Department of Justice is not treating all Americans equally under the law, but instead acting like the President’s personal attorney. That is unacceptable.

Every step of the way, President Trump has ignored the experts, downplayed the threat COVID-19 posed, and misled the American people — and we’re all paying the price every single day. I promise you, I will do the opposite.
