Reality check:
1. Less than 0.1% of his net worth is cash.
2. 99.9% is in the stocks of the companies he built.
3.Those companies employ ~158,000 people directly
4. Also roughly 700,000–850,000 indirect jobs in total (including suppliers).
5. In Total - That’s hundreds of thousands of people who currently have a paycheck and can afford rent, food, and a basic life because these companies exist.
If he sold large amounts of his stock or gave it away, the value of those companies would likely drop sharply.
That would mean layoffs, hiring freezes, and supplier contracts drying up.
A large portion of those 700k–850k people could lose their income — many would struggle to pay rent or put food on the table, and some could end up homeless.
His “wealth” isn’t sitting unused. It’s the reason hundreds of thousands of people currently have jobs and can afford to live.
IF Cybertruck production stops mid-next year, it will be the Tesla model with the shortest production run.

None of the other manufacturers need vehicles imported from China, while the only manufacturer and consumers who want vehicles imported from China to Canada are Tesla and Tesla consumers.
Your “fair share” quota policies are raising gas and diesel prices for average consumers, while the quota stays the same because no other Chinese manufacturers have the capability or the consumers.
How about a “fair share” quota for the manufacturers that can actually import roadworthy vehicles to Canada and have demand for them?
This is highly unfair, as those quotas will expire while consumers bear the burden of using ICE vehicles and paying high prices for the next 5 months, especially in the Canadian cold.
