Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Lithuania, Estonia, and the Netherlands have all experienced overnight cyberattacks affecting grocery refrigerator systems.
Are you prepared if something similar happens here?
UPDATE: The Netherlands is also under cyberattack, with refrigeration systems at at least 17 businesses targeted overnight.
Attackers manipulated temperature settings in cooling and freezing systems, affecting businesses including butcher shops, local stores and frozen food storage facilities.
The Netherlands has now joined the five other countries hit by cyberattacks targeting supermarket refrigeration systems across Europe this morning.

As the video briefly notes, when the electrical grid goes down, so do cell towers. Cell towers have a limited amount of battery backup, after that, they stop working.
It also means the LTE Push to Talk PoC radios that you see advertised for SHTF situations, will also stop working. You need to have a self-transmitting and receiving option for emergency communication. CB, GRMS, HAM radios etc. It also means that the people you want to communicate with need to have one as well.
But first you are going to need a way to generate your own electricity. Solar is pretty cheap now, and that's what I personally use for back up and often times daily. Generators that run on fuel will eventually run out, so think ahead.
No solution will work perfectly all the time, so try to have multiple options.
Oil moves the nation, but electricity powers it, and not having electricity for extended periods of time will do the most damage to our modern society.
Plan accordingly.

Demoralization gradually breaks down a civilization’s sense of we and inverts its telos (its ultimate purpose). People lose sight of who they are and why their civilization is worth preserving. Some lose the will to defend their inheritance, while others come to believe that dismantling it is a moral duty. As these divisions deepen, demoralization gives way to destabilization.
The we rests on shared history, loyalties, and obligations to future generations. It weakens when people are taught to regard their past as shameful, when national identity is reduced to little more than legal status, or when loyalties to one’s own ethnos or faction displace a common sense of belonging. Today we can barely agree on what it means to be American. Large-scale immigration without assimilation can also deepen the problem, losing the sense of “we.” Some newcomers may retain stronger loyalties to their own ethnos than to the country they’ve entered, valuing what it provides without feeling obliged to sustain what made it possible. Political movements may also seek to mobilize migrant communities against the existing order, even when the migrants themselves have no revolutionary aims.
The inversion of its telos turns this loss of identity into a moral project of leftist activism. Within left framed, western civilization’s history, institutions, and traditions are interpreted through theories of class, race, sex, and colonial oppression. So, what once justified preserving society becomes evidence that it ought to be overcome. Defending it then is cast as selfish, backward, or immoral. Dismantling it becomes justice, liberation, and progress. The civilization’s highest moral purpose becomes its own overcoming.
Some feel ashamed or defeated and stop resisting. Others sense what is being lost and push back, though they struggle to explain what still binds them together or why it matters. Revolutionary activists, convinced the inherited order is oppressive, work to dismantle it as a moral duty. Many sincerely believe they’re repairing the civilization they’re undermining.
Demoralization gives way to destabilization as those resisting the changes clash with those pursuing them. Many stand aside while the conflict feeds on itself, and the people and institutions promoting demoralization escape much of the scrutiny.
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

We need to see federal criminal charges @TheJusticeDept. There are some red lines you do not cross, and defacing the resting place of our nation’s fallen heroes should be one of them.

Calling out Islamic terrorism isn’t Islamophobia. It’s the bare minimum if you want to stop the next attack.
Al-Qaeda, ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood and the rest have been running the same campaign for decades. Attacks, bombings, shootings, training camps, funding networks. The body count is enormous and most of the dead are Muslims in their own countries. When it happens in Afghanistan or Syria or Nigeria nobody pretends the ideology doesn’t matter. But the second it hits the West the conversation flips to “Islamophobia” within a day or two.
That label gets used to shut down any talk about the doctrine or the organizations. The Muslim Brotherhood helped invent the tactic. Plenty of Muslim countries have banned them or labeled chapters terrorists because they know the pattern. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan. If you point out the same connections here you’re the problem.
Looking away just lets it grow. We’ve tried that.

👉This is common sense too me and should have been in place for quite some time. Our military institutions should be self sufficient too a point and should have enough supplies to last for a set amount of time.

FORTRESS: The Pentagon is preparing every major U.S. military base to survive 90 days without outside support — no civilian power grid, no global supply chains, no outside fuel or water.
The initiative, revealed in documents reviewed by Fox News Digital, envisions portable nuclear reactors, massive battery storage, and microgrids that can disconnect installations from civilian electricity entirely. Strategic reserves of munitions, fuel, critical minerals, and medical supplies would be stockpiled based on wartime consumption rates. Civilian factories are being pre-identified to shift to defense production during a crisis.

BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT
A federal grand jury has indicted Lo Saetern, 35, of Sacramento. Prosecutors say he posted YouTube videos threatening to build a bomb and kill children at a nearby church, an evangelical church in Elk Grove that has not been publicly named. Police found ammunition and powders that can be used to make black powder at his home. These are allegations. He is presumed innocent.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Between Sept. 15 and Sept. 21, 2026, Saetern allegedly posted YouTube videos about building a bomb and killing children at the church.
- Prosecutors say he also talked about a mass shooting targeting Muslims, and made violent threats against a neighbor's daughter.
- On Sept. 21, investigators searched his home and found ammunition, firearms, and bags of sulfur and charcoal powder, which can be combined with potassium nitrate to make black powder.
- Prosecutors say that in December 2019 he claimed he was driving around with a bomb.
THE ACCUSED
- Lo Saetern, 35, of Sacramento.
- Charged with interstate threats, threats involving explosives, and possessing ammunition as a prohibited person. He has been under a lifetime mental health firearm ban since 2019.
- He was being held in the Yuba County Jail.
CURRENT STATUS
- No one was hurt.
WHY IT MATTERS FOR CHURCHES
The threat named children. Children's ministry spaces are some of the most open areas in many churches. This person also had a history: earlier bomb talk and a court order barring him from guns. Threats posted in public are often the only warning a church gets.
WHAT YOUR SAFETY TEAM CAN DO
1. Secure your children's area with controlled entry and a check-in and check-out system.
2. Report any online threat that mentions your church or a church nearby to police and the FBI.
3. Ask local police to tell you when a threat names your area.
4. Practice a lockdown with your children's ministry volunteers.
