You can't donate your way out of national underdevelopment. We dismiss philanthropism because it lacks aggregate capacity to reverse crises of this nature. The state exists for a reason!!!

A lot of moneyed black people are like this deep down, extremely materialistic also. Very rare to find a rich man or woman who doesn’t look down on people. You see it with black upper middle class already. Many are just good at keeping it to themselves.

The fact that the Minister responsible is still in office after two of the worst tragedies in the country's transport history says it all.

When I left Hwange in 2002, this whole area was tarred. No dust.
More than two decades later, the tar has practically disappeared and the road is slowly turning back into a field. 😭
At this rate, if nothing is done in the next few years, we might as well plant maize, install irrigation and call it a farming project. 🌽😂
Surely we can do better than this.

It's the model of economic development in Africa. We are where colonialism left us. We are failing to build beyond that hence almost everyone had to travel to and settle in Harare. What a way to address absolute underdevelopment in post colonial Africa. We are here👇

If your priority is to save $10k, $15k to marry her... She should also be saving a more or less amount to make that deposit for a residential stand or an investment
Otherwise you're about to enter a vicious cycle of poverty.
