Holy. Shit. The NYT is reporting that despite their denials, Mary Peltola's staff and Democratic operatives flew all over Alaska in secret to find and recruit a man named Dan Sullivan. They put him on the ballot to purposefully steal votes from Republican Dan Sullivan.

democrats: if we take power we will seize elon musk's companies and put him in prison and no, we do not care if he technically committed any crime or not also democrats, somehow: why is elon musk funding republicans?
Elon Musk is dumping half a billion dollars into Republican races. Why? Because Democrats in Congress won’t be a rubber stamp for Donald Trump and will actually fight to lower costs.

Asian-Americans in Harvard’s Incoming Class More Than Double, to 43.2 Percent Newly released data on the Harvard College class of 2030 say the class is 43.2 percent Asian-American, a record high and more than double the level when Students for Fair Admissions first sued Harvard alleging racial discrimination in admissions. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in 2023 that Harvard was unlawfully using race as a factor in admissions. Since then, the numbers of Hispanic and black students in the incoming Harvard classes have dipped, while the numbers of Asian-Americans have soared.

turns out it classifies what audio it hears, before reporting back to samsung. sensor preferences, dog-barking and baby-crying event counters, and camera streaming duration are built into telemetry paths.
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Elon Musk in new interview with Walter Isaacson on the wealth he's created: "A fundamental misunderstanding of economics arises because of conflating resource allocation and consumption; I've created. My so-called wealth is simply a percentage ownership in SpaceX and Tesla. And this is going to be taxed quite heavily, and there's not some magical way to avoid taxes. If there were I would know about it. At the end of the day, this will get whittled down, and a few generations from now, if money still matters, which I don't think it will, my descendants would have a tiny fraction of what I have."

I wouldn’t put it past a large drug company to stand up ghost pep vendors and put the insulin and who knows what else in it themselves just to stop competition. Reta is potentially a trillion dollar drug, people cheat at poker.
The days of slinging illegal peptides are coming to an end. Eli Lilly is enforcing its IP on Reta and there’s nothing all these affiliate drug dealers can do about it. Nature is healing.

What are you talking about? We gave California the names, addresses, and DOBs of the noncitizens we've identified. We have their alien files at @USCIS, which contain their immigration status. If California has evidence showing they are in fact citizens, we would love to see it. This shouldn’t be political. We’re enforcing federal laws passed by Congress.
First, they offer no evidence to try to block 20,000 ballots from being counted. Now, the Trump Administration is threatening California election officials with criminal investigations without any legal basis. The Constitution gives states the authority to administer elections — not Donald Trump. California won’t be bullied, and every eligible voter has the right to vote and have their vote counted.

Eric Weinstein: 100% of the population has gone completely insane — And here’s the proof Not a metaphor. He says you can pretty much prove it. Biden spent four years with the nuclear football while declining. Almost nobody treated it as a crisis. Stage-managed, like Roosevelt. The entire management of COVID was completely fake. We still can’t “get to the bottom” of Jeffrey Epstein. Nobody trusts Harvard. People are losing faith in CNN. Everything is bananas, fictionalized, managed wall-to-wall. We’re living in what he calls managed reality. Most people have accepted it. He’s stuck watching it.

NEWS: Rare Earth Prices Are Exploding as U.S. Defense Buyers Rush to Secure Non-Chinese Supply Before Jan. 1st $MP $USAR $UUUU $AREC $ALOY S&P Global reports North American prices for several critical rare earth oxides have surged to new highs as buyers compete for extremely limited non-Chinese material. Since Platts began tracking these markets in March: Terbium oxide: +53% Dysprosium oxide: +171% Samarium oxide: +470% Meanwhile, Chinese prices have remained relatively stable. That means buyers aren’t simply paying more for rare earths: they’re paying enormous premiums specifically for material that can be sourced OUTSIDE China. And the trade data explains why. Chinese exports of the dual-use rare earth elements terbium, dysprosium and scandium fell to ZERO in August. Exports of controlled rare earth compounds and metals during the first eight months of 2026 fell 61% year-over-year. Shipments to both the United States and Japan? Down 99%. Now add another major catalyst: January 1, 2027. U.S. defense contractors are reportedly stockpiling heavy rare earth material ahead of new DFARS restrictions limiting Chinese material in U.S. defense supply chains. Chris Berry told S&P Global that the defense industrial base is realizing January 1 is effectively a “hard stop” and is trying to secure as much heavy rare earth material as possible. The problem? There isn’t much non-Chinese material available. Even after Trump and Xi extended the rare earth trade truce through January 10, market participants told S&P Global the extension has done little to alleviate concerns surrounding secure non-Chinese supply. China still controls roughly 91% of global refining and processing capacity for major rare earths. The clock is ticking. January 1, 2027 is now less than three months away.
