SA all out for 329 in a Test where they were 158/0 at one stage on a good surface right after a Test where they scored 425/9 despite being 110/6 on a tough pitch. Got to love this game. Wonder if so many batters would have gotten out playing attacking shots if the start wasn't

And next minute they're down.
Peak Pakistan cricket stuff! As Nasser Hussain said it ages ago, "Pakistan cricket at its best. One minute down, next minute up."

My classmate from college plays the young Tenzing in this film. Great guy. Very proud.
Watched ‘Tenzing’ and a big surprise reveal for me was Tenzing Norway’s ethnically Tibetan roots. His parents had migrated from Tibet as refugees and he was an outsider for the Sherpa community initially. As both Nepal and India rushed to claim him this identity was minimised.

If you want to know what the chance to play CWC Super League meant for Associates consider this. Here is how the Netherlands reacted to winning the 2017 WCL Championship and thus earning a Super League spot.

This feels a bit like the LSG vs SRH match. Thankfully (and hopefully) nobody there to give an earful to Santner.

This has got to be one of the best covers I have seen of a cricket book. Have been a huge fan of this 1977 Patrick Eagar photo. There are very few such action photos where the rain is so heavy in cricket. Here is the story of the game - facebook.com/share/v/19yRSgR…

Karunesh and Neville episodes were soooooo nice to record. Karunesh, by the way, had a power cut at his place. He said wait, give me 20 minutes. I'll drive to another place and we will continue recording. And this was the first time I was talking to him.
Every new Karunesh video reminds me of the magical podcast of @RandomCricketP1 . It felt like conversations with the best friend you make in school, who happens to love cricket as much as you do. A rare gem that takes you back to the almost surreal era of Indian Test cricket.

Every time I pass by this, I really wonder what exactly is there for this number to be on such a big display in the heart of the capital? How is this no. an achievement in 2026, especially for a country already bursting at the seams and facing water and energy resource crunch?

I understand at some point in our history, this was an important marker of development because it showed how we have brought down mortality rates, and full marks to those who worked towards the achievement of that goal, especially the medical community. But why in 2026?

At the Lil Flea, a man came up to an artist's stall and asked for the price of a notepad whose cover was beautifully illustrated. She told him the cost to which he said, "I'll find much something better and cheaper at a stationary and left. He might not have been wrong but why

It's generally used with/for images. Just an attempt to leverage the human mind's tendency to expect something to pop up when a double click is done. And for that reason, it's mostly inserted a few milliseconds before the picture appears. I don't know what's the issue though.
Question for creators and short form video editors in India. Why do you insert a mouse click sound every 5 seconds into your videos? Is it like some Pavlovian way to prevent people from scrolling away?

The thing about Google clearing a forest in Finland without permits is that they decided that whatever fine they might face is worth it. It doesn’t cost them as much as not getting the land cleared. Because like ALL things, if the punishment is a fine, it isn’t really illegal for rich people.

Apparently this cutting of over 32,000 trees on 233 ha in Bhimashankar forest near Pune is just first tranche of total three. Means around 90,000 to one lakh total trees will be cut. N indefinite number of species will be killed.
MH govt without consulting with us, citizens, cutting pristine forest over 600 ha that is 1500 acres which is 2-4 villages in Bhimashankar forest which is reserved area n vicinity to Pune. Destroying western ghats is nothing but murder of its citizens by state govt led by bjp. People in n around Pune need to come on streets against this brutality.

One of the most fascinating aspects of such long last wicket stands is how the lower order batter grows in confidence with every passing over. S/he's like a completely transformed individual by the end of the p'ship. Great to watch. Things you only get to see in ODIs and Tests.

Hey hey, but it's a 'meaningless ODI'.
This from Shadab is one of the greatest ODI tons in the history of Pakistan cricket. Lahore has seen the heist in '87 WC against WI, a heartbreak of falling 9 runs short against RSA in '97, a tied ODI against WI in '91. Those are from another generation. This will be remembered.
