When people were swearing up and down that it was just because of a "pastel" palette they adopted for season 8, which was insane because not only was it not pastel, but we saw darker background characters so even the dumb excuse was invalid.

The most hyped up season of Winx Club ever.
Season 5 ultimately didn't deliver, but it still holds a place in my heart, and I maintain the first half of the season is pretty darn good.
