Correct. It's something I was doing as a sort of side project, since I had Hamsterball 2 all shadered up. The problem is these are 2004 graphics with 2020's effects put on them. Feels like the meshes need to be changed to make it really feel right. If you look at my timeline for my screenshots of Hamsterball 2, you should see what I mean.

Maybe I SHOULD start giving release dates again? The universe seems to be rearranging itself so I don't release on time whether I give them or not these days!

I'm saying 2 looks exactly how I wanted it, when I tried to retrofit 1 to use shaders and look more like 2 it hasn't really panned out so far. 2's models and geometry are different, I'm not having good luck just slathering shaders on 1 and getting good looks. Just doesn't pop like 2.

I've done it and am not happy with it. In part because Hamsterball 2 really turned out exactly how I wanted it to look and retrofitting Hamsterball 1 with shaders makes it look like putting lipstick on a pig.

About the ending in Flowers for Algernon....

Not to mention, not having to spend 2-3 days doing "unwork" because Google, Apple, or Windows improved an API to the point of having to recode everything from scratch.

Sort of. It's quite a ways along. The order of releases (and I'm getting old and slowing down and having home turmoil to boot) is going to be chuzzle 2 for pc, hamsterball 2, and then Solomons Keep metal edition.

They do-- they actually bought "Eggsucker" but then changed the name because well, who knows why! :D

Alas, no, not without EA's agreement. Though of course I could do "Eggcrack'ums" if I wanted to... but there's so many of these Puzzle-Bobble type games out there now that I assume it's a tutorial set in one of the game maker apps.

Good heavens, I think I will lose some social media points if I like this one.

No, I never heard about this at all. Fascinating! What year? Kinda interesting that I put a "Chuzzle Blitz" as one of the game challenges in Chuzzle 2. No idea Popcap had ever done a Chuzzle Blitz.
Replying to @SusBlue
I have not heard of it. Is it a word game? The word "Chuzzle" I think actually turned into a for-real word in Asia for a little fuzzball-- that's the power of Popcap!

No trouble! I wish I could get the rights to Chuzzle 1 and Dynomite back but I don't think EA's legal team will be game. :)
We have the right to sell a PC version of Chuzzle 1 off of Chuzzle.com, but that's it! HOWEVER: Note that Chuzzle 2 has all the Chuzzle 1 modes built into it. They unlock as you play!
Raptisoft, we ourselves, have no right or association to Chuzzle 1 for any mobile device. As far as I know they've all been unpublished. I'd be very cautious installing one! It's possible someone grabbed the old Popcap/EA version before it got unpublished, but risky!

Daily-Do but possibly Duels coming later (the code already exists, it's more a matter of punching through nats and the associated server matching etc)
For those waiting on Chuzzle, we're getting close! But we are adding a few unique features in specially for the Steam version.
Replying to @SmolLillia
Neither, really. It's a different style of game altogether, only similarly is the color matching.
Replying to @TheDerric
It won't-- we don't have any good way to attach an outside download to a steam release. But Chuzzle 1, 2, and Christmas will be bundled together on Raptisoft.com when we get all set up.
