I will repeat. They play 162 games to decide Division CHAMPS. MLB cannot have a system in place where a Division CHAMPION’s season is decided in a 3-game series. MLB Postseason format is broken.
Braves-Dodgers series moments:
Game 1: Three outs without an earned run after a triple by Ohtani
Game 2: HSK walk-off hit
Game 3: Shutout by Sale
What a series!

The Braves-Dodgers series was baseball at its best. Those three games ... my goodness.

The Braves had the Profar money and more prospect capital than they've had as a contender in long time. They've had an obvious need to bolster the rotation since November. Thought for sure this was the year they would make a big splash. But instead, they've left plenty of room to second guess.

I just don't know how you take Alex Anthopoulos as a serious GM anymore. Starting pitchers were moved left and right, and you couldn't get one, despite constantly talking about it being the biggest need.
22 games over .500, great/talented team in the middle of the core, actually decent prospect depth to deal from, and nothing. Braves BY FAR the biggest losers at the trade deadline. A total failure from the GM

So if the ball is in the air you can just run into the foot of a player just winding up to kick it and you get a penalty?!
This sport is a JOKE and why us Americans will never really care about it. We don’t reward stupid tactics like this ✌️

There were plenty of negative predictions before the World Cup. Critics claimed the USA wouldn’t be able to host it successfully and that stadiums would be empty because Americans only watch baseball. Instead, the tournament has delivered packed stadiums, world-class facilities, and an incredible atmosphere. This has been one of the most successful World Cups ever, and the USA has proven itself to be a fantastic host.

Someone said the only country capable of hosting a World Cup better than the 2026 World Cup is the USA itself. They’ve raised the bar so high that there barely seems to be a bar left to reach. From the stadiums and infrastructure to the atmosphere and organization, this tournament has set a new standard for future World Cups. 🇺🇸

El Himno de los Estados Unidos acá en Seattle ha sido una auténtica escena de película. Espectacular. Véanlo hasta el final. Brutal. Más de 65 mil personas, lleno absoluto. Estados Unidos demostrando que también es un país futbolero. Fabuloso.
