2026年10月24日，网传维吾尔族女孩热伊莱·吾马尔，英文名 Rahile Omer，因严重抑郁去世。消息还称，她的父母已于一个月前在监狱中去世。目前，这些最新消息尚待独立核实。
然而，关于这个女孩曾遭拘留的经历，早已出现在国际媒体披露的档案中。
2022年，澳大利亚广播公司 ABC News 报道了曝光的“新疆警察文件”。照片中的热伊莱当时年仅15岁，是档案中最年轻的被关押者之一。美国学者郑国恩分析相关档案后指出，她早在2017年9月28日、年仅14岁时就已被拘留。

Following the wrongful detention of U.S. citizens Youlin Chen and Min Zin, the @StateDept is raising the risk level for wrongful detention in its travel advisory for China.
This is a serious warning to all Americans. The CCP has demonstrated that it will use arbitrary detention and exit bans to target Americans in China.

Select Committee Chairman @RepMoolenaar sent a letter to @SecWar Pete Hegseth urging the @DeptofWar to expand its Section 1286 List to include 14 Chinese Academy of Sciences institutes, 62 Chinese laboratories, 58 universities, 22 foreign malign talent programs, and the China Scholarship Council and its affiliated scholars—all identified as CCP-linked defense or research partners.
