I would think that most pilots mentally prepare that each flight will be their last.
I used to perform this meditation before motorbiking.
I could die doing this, it's very serious. This could be what kills me.
Then imagine myself dying horrifically.
Are pilots mindful of their own death like this during flight? Or is it like working from a great height where you just feel like you are on the ground?
A pilot should not:
