The Internet was built on DARPA infrastructure. There has always been a built in backdoor. Many have been trying to crack it, and I believe there are a few who are even rotting in places where GITMO was a pit stop to because they did.
But even if that doesn’t convince you, anything online can be hacked. But that was my job on active duty’s I was a “cyber operator”. 🤣 We’re in 5th gen warfare, and the VAST majority of people do not even realize we are in a war.
Even if I’m wrong about both of those points, if these “rogue ai swarms” really have broken free the internet is even less secure than if they weren’t.
The only thing I know for a fact after 24 years in IT is that the internet is a playground. We should NEVER put banking on it. That’s the dumbest use of it I could ever imagine.

I can’t do Keynesianism bro. I breifed investment planning to our troops for a few years. I learned the best economists in the world get it wrong around 92% of the time!
But our corrupt politicians know what’s best for the market? They can determine the billions of transaction every day in real time to make adjustments to keep the market from crashing?
Not buying it. I’m an Austrian Econ guy myself. The beauty of a market free from manipulation is to watch it evolve into what society makes it. Not what a bunch of beauracrat bean counters push onto society.
