It’s killing me that it was two bagel shops owned by the same person 15km apart and no one was willing to state the obvious likely reason

Why the West isn't totally panicking and trying to quash Israel is beyond me. Fear?

Definitely. Pulling the strings. If he then must continue his trial for corruption he'll be frantic to get out of it.

It's still useful to remove the cult leader.

Oh, you are significantly underestimating how angry I and several billion other people are about it. You just keep on trying to light the match and see what happens, old man.

And it's a belief that people in that ethno-religious group are entitled to exclusive use and ownership of the land -- at any cost to the people living on the land, to the health of the land, and even to the children of that ethno-religious group who are used as child soldiers.

It's a belief in ethno-religious purity and dominance -- at all costs. In a place where most people aren't in that ethno-religious group.

Watch, feel her rage, and understand why she proposed ‘Zionism is Racism’.
Watch this. Lubna Speitan, author of the Greens4Palestine motion “Zionism is racism”, spells out the central obscenity of our age – the grotesque inversion whereby the victims of ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and genocide must constantly fend off accusations from their tormentors that it is they who are the racists. “We as Palestinians are being silenced and gaslit and vilified [as we] witness the annihilation, the cold-blooded murder of our families, of our people… our children burnt with phosphorus, having to endure amputations with no anaesthetic, having their limbs torn and shredded, their bodies burnt by phosphorus, being starved to death … And to have to sit here … and try to bury my feelings so I can eloquently and diplomatically shield my anger, my rage, my anguish that every Palestinian is feeling, is an insult.” /1

They tried to float this idea in Australia as well. Which is even more ridiculous.

Right? Just ridiculous. Pretty sure Iran has better things to do than vandalize small businesses at the edge of the civilized world. 🙄

pretty amazing that, in the middle of standing up to and humiliating the world's greatest military empire, Iran took the time to pay a bunch of Canadian teenagers to shoot at some empty buildings, for some reason cbc.ca/news/investigates/ira…

Daniel Levy | Former Israeli Peace Negotiator | US/Middle East Project (@USMEP): Netanyahu did not alone commit genocide for 3 years. He did not alone maintain decades of illegal occupation. It was system-wide. Eisenkot was part of it & served in the military. He sat in the emergency unity security cabinet after Oct. 7 - during the genocide. Israeli generals, soldiers & judges - all part of a system-wide mobilization. Dissenting voices existed but remained marginal.

Some of the sharpest analyses of Israeli politics come from Daniel Levy. This should be subtitled in every language. Short, clear, impeccable.

CBC News is a joke, but this horrific work of fiction blaming Iran for Israel’s gun-for-hire network is a straight-up hate crime. Jonathon Gatehouse, Albert Leung & CBC need to be investigated & prosecuted for inciting hate. cbc.ca/news/investigates/ira…

Normally I’m inured to CBC’s lies. But Jonathon Gatehouse, Albert Leung & CBC need to be investigated & prosecuted for inciting hate for publishing this work of fiction.
Today CBC published an article with the headline: “Why a spate of gun-for-hire shootings in Toronto were likely paid for by Iran.” I was intrigued, as there has been almost 0 evidence offered for this claim thus far. Unfortunately this article doesn’t offer any either, adding nothing new. CBC says they spent weeks on the investigation, so these are pretty pitiful results, at least in terms of finding evidence of who paid for the shootings. I’m not sure why they feel comfortable with such a declarative headline given the lack of evidence (other than journalistic standards going out the window when the subject is an Official Enemy country). Also, CBC and other journalists continue platforming police claims that they need backdoor access to messaging apps to solve these shootings, with no push back or critique about how these powers can be abused, including against journalists. cbc.ca/news/investigates/ira…
