🩺 Endoscopy is a key part of UGI training, but experiences vary a lot between trainees.
This short survey will help us understand what training looks like across the country and how it can be improved.
👉 Please take a couple of minutes to fill it in
📈 We’re launching a survey to understand the current state of UGI endoscopy training among surgical trainees.
📊Results will be presented to AUGIS & JAG to push for better access and training opportunities.

Pleased to announce another paper from my nutrition in EGS PhD has been published in @ColorectalDis yesterday!
doi.org/10.1111/codi.70081
What factors drive decision making?
We examine six and ask surgeons, ‘Would you start artificial nutritional support in this patient?’
…changing perceptions. People with obesity can be malnourished and might need nutritional support, even if they don’t ‘look’ like they do.
…further learning. Albumin is not a marker of malnutrition in acute setting.
Thanks again to all the support @wannabehawkeye @BreastSurgeon @asgbi @VanessaUoS, Tim Wilson and all the participants involved.
