Slipped quietly onto the bottom of the Sky News feed on a Friday evening: former Tory Campaign Director Anthony Lee, his wife Laura, and an ex-party staffer handed suspended sentences after using insider knowledge on the election date to attempt to pocket £23,000+ through rigged bets.
Notice how the establishment apparatus handles real corruption. High-ranking Conservative officials abusing government secrets for personal financial gain get a soft-touch suspended sentence and a discreet, late-night media burial.
Meanwhile, look at the contrast with Reform UK. Mainstream media outlets deploy undercover operatives, obsessively hound minor local activists, and demand immediate police scrutiny or political execution over every minor comment made by Reform staff and members.
If a Reform candidate had abused insider state intelligence to clear £23k in a gambling scheme, it would be leading the 10 o'clock news for a month and driving national headlines. When the Tory establishment literally cheats the system, it gets brushed under the rug on a Friday night.
Two-tier justice. Two-tier media. Two-tier Britain.

ITV’s documentary about racism inside Reform is a foretaste of the mainstream media onslaught yet to be unleashed against Nigel Farage’s party.

STATEMENT:
Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police.
Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison.
They forged a passport.
They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes.
They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”.
This is unprecedented.
The police are now involved.
Scrutiny of political parties is one thing.
But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts.

Thank you for all the kind messages. This incident has made me even more determined to continue the fight to save the country we love from the rotten political and media establishment that wants to run it into the ground.

Reform UK should be held to high standards. I don't think anybody is disputing that. But watching the latest Channel 4/ITV investigations I did wonder:
Where is the year-long undercover investigation into the grooming gangs and the Labour-held councils and police officers who enabled them for years?
Where's the year-long investigation into the mosques, Islamic charities and educational foundations that are suspected of supporting Islamism in this country?
Where's the prime-time investigation into the pro-Palestine or pro-Hamas activists who have been marching through our streets for years?
Where's the investigation into the civil service and why supposedly impartial government units are now becoming so openly political?
Where's the undercover sting operation into the Green party, Stand Up To Racism, Hope Not Hate, and other far-left groups -- including their links to the Labour Party and funding from British taxpayers?
Where's the detailed uncover work on the global multinationals that are ruthlessly exploiting British workers, the corrupt regimes exploiting foreign aid from the British people, or the organised foreign national networks exploiting Britain's welfare state?
None of this is to downplay the investigation into Reform UK. Personally, I think all this makes the party stronger over the longer-term. The party should and no doubt will improve its internal policies as a result.
It is also now crystal clear to everybody in this country what is going on. Establishment interest groups are trying to dismantle the party.
But I still ask: if the media and journalists are going to do this kind of deep undercover work then shouldn't they be doing it to everybody?
Because right now it looks like they are only interested in discrediting the one political party that wants to overturn the broken status-quo.

Half-way through listening to this and I am finding the same reaction everywhere: where are the undercover journalists exposing other parties?
It's exactly as Dominic Cummings warned - the establishment will do whatever it takes to stop @reformparty_uk and voters can see it.
'Why are the rotten apples in Reform so easy to find?'
Catch up on today's Daily T where @CamillaTominey and @timothy_stanley discuss the ITV News investigation into Reform UK, which saw councillors filmed on camera expressing racist and sexist views. They discuss whether this expose is a case of 'a few bad apples' or reflects an attitude within the political party itself...
