Frozen Russian assets must be used to help Ukraine defend itself now!
Since the Belgian Prime Minister, who opposed this decision, has resigned, now is the time! teapawt.net/michaeldweiss/status/2…

I often point out that, in my opinion, it is a major mistake for the West to keep ignoring the problem of Russian propaganda.
They have paid influencers, on both the far left and far right, supported by armies of bots. They devide societies and influence elections. It urgently needs countermeasures.

‼️Sky News has obtained exclusive drone footage documenting how Russian forces exploited the evacuation of civilians from occupied Oleshky for military purposes.
Before, during and after humanitarian corridor, Russian troops were moving heavy military equipment, weapons, ammunition, personnel and supplies into Oleshky and nearby villages.
They searched civilian homes for basements to establish new military positions, retook previously lost positions and removed the bodies of civilians killed by shelling and mines from the morgue, apparently to cover up evidence.
This is how Russia uses humanitarian evacuations.

What a heartbreaking week it has been. Sir Patrick Stewart was a friend, a colleague, and a magnificent actor. From the stage to the bridge of the Enterprise, he brought intelligence, grace, and a deep sense of humanity to everything he did. Captain Picard stood for the best of us, and so did the man who played him. I was filled with affection and admiration for him and his work.
My heart goes out to Sunny and his family. He will be deeply missed.

A Russian Z-blogger is surprised that four times as many people from Oleshky chose to evacuate to Ukraine.
Shocking, really. You invade them, destroy their peaceful lives, occupy them, blockade them, bomb them, kill their neighbors, and almost starve them... and then they leave? Truly a mystery.

Ukraine hasn't struck a Russian refinery since 16 October. Meanwhile Russia continues to strike Ukrainian power infrastructure.
Its time to start destroying them again.

My friend Timo and I were just watching #StarTrekTNG's "Lessons" half an hour ago. I cannot comprehend that Patrick Stewart has passed. This will take some time. I will forever miss him!

Child screaming for their father in Dnipro, fathers crying over the bodies of his daughters in Chernihiv.
Horrific pain.
I despise anyone who dares to say Ukraine doesn't want peace.

🇬🇧🇺🇦 UK is committing an additional £10 billion in aid to Ukraine: £7 billion will go toward economic support over the next three years, and £3 billion will back export support, focused mainly on supplying essential weaponry.
Thank you UK!
Also two things: First, in a troubled world where some Western democracies turn on their allies, and on democracy itself, while others cling to realpolitik refusing to face the reality, the UK is proving to be a true reliable ally.
Second, the pro Farage-Russia bots are outraged, pushing hard to convince people to be isolationsts. But the victor of this war will determine whether Europe faces peace or war, prosperity or ruin.
Supporting Ukraine is not only the right moral choice, it is an investment in Europe’s future, peace, security, and prosperity .
