Terrible time for small sports clubs at the moment. Most, not all, but most of us still get paid during this challenging period. If you want your sport and club to be here at the end of this epidemic, consider paying your subs as you would. Costs don't just stop for clubs.🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️🏊‍♀️

Found this very intriguing. My old club Garioch have a "no phones" policy for swimmers at competitions. It's good to see the swimmers voluntarily handing over their phones at the start of a meet. They seem to interact more as a team & some brought books to read on poolside.

These companies seem to forget swimmers and clubs are also customers. Some think clubs are an inconvenience.

It’s happening all over the south east. Aylesbury nearly folded because of it and most other clubs have had significant pool hire increases 😞 and because of it swimming is rapidly becoming or has become a rich mans sport :(

Too many times have I seen this at swimming etc. In football parents are given a training session on how to be respectful... trust me no parent knows how bloody hard it is to train & compete. Parents need to encourage & support, not berate & bully. youtu.be/0A-pTcP9CjE – at South Shore, England
