<parenting rant=safety>
Do you seriously have any idea how fcked up and anti child and anti parent this world is?
We have to make so many modifications because people will threaten to call the police if we let two 8yos monitor a 2yo for a few minutes on the other side of a door frame.
They haven't seen us go down and interact with her, we could be clocking her every 15 seconds but nooooo
Want to leave them in the car while you run into the store? hahahah forget it
People who DO NOT HAVE A CHILD or HAVE NEVER HAD MORE THAN 2 KIDS absolutely DESPISE parenting strategies of those with more kids
YOU CAN'T FUCKING LEAVE YOUR KIDS WITH YOUR KIDS THEY CAN'T BE TRUSTED YOU'RE GOING TO GET THEM KILLED OMG
look assholes I know the dangers of this world and so does my wife, we take our protection very seriously, we only go safer places and we know how long it takes before trouble arises and we have God warn and aid us. We need to function. Half the time these errands and situations are SO THE CHILDREN CAN EAT we are doing the best we can and my wife is doing great.
THIS WORLD

children
my wife has had situations needing to switch OBs because they kept trying to get her to TERMINATE, AS IN ABORTION, a pregnancy that was doing ok according to the high risk specialists.
nevermind trying to find or make a house a home that is child safe.
take this into consideration the next time I get impatient or opinionated or short tempered about such topics.
some days it's me against almost all of you!
I am seeking to follow traditions that had more kids than most new parents can fathom having.
If I have more kids than you, you don't get to lecture me, that's how it works. I answer to God on a daily basis for every move I make, the FAFO cycle for many of you is measured in 2 years and over here sometimes it's 2 minutes. I have parents and peers who aid and advise us WHO KNOW US better than you, parent on the internet developing a reddit mindset. Life isn't suddenly r/parenting because you have a kid now. Big whoop, worry about the challenges in the mirror.
There's nothing worse than trying to take leaps of faith around your children to only to have some scary guy show up and bang on your window and cuss you out.
Demons are real, and they're here to take your kids away if they think you're not conforming. And guess what, if you have an above replacement family, you aren't.
And one more thing, STOP telling my wife she "has her hands full" three times a day. Yours are clearly empty.
It's actually quite frightening to talk about any of this because it opens the door to nutjobs thinking maybe I deserve some events or that I'm confessing to Ls, the internet can be a terrible place. I hear even Claude tries to call the cops on people. Good luck with the reddit training data.
But I'm taking this risk too, because I want you to know you can do this. You can be a good mom, a good dad, and people will absolutely come for your throat and very few people will defend you.
Well, I'll be there if you need me. I'll help you however I can. We moms and dads are in this together. If God be with us, nobody can stand against us.

No modern political event will make sense until you understand the two reasons why a man will hate you.
He will hate you because you harm him, which is easy to understand.
And he will hate you because he harms you.
No, that's not backwards. That is what you must understand.
Here's how it works.
Once upon a time, a man was given an ultimatum. He had to dissociate himself from me, or his long-term benefactor would withdraw all support.
Some people deliberate from principle, while others examine their bread to determine with side it is buttered on. I try not to judge people too harshly if they don't have much butter.
But, suffice to say, he followed his benefactor's commands, despite having nothing in particular against me.
But he then began to dislike me, and make childish comments behind my back. This was utterly predictable if you understand how humans work.
See, having acted against me, he needed to feel that his actions were just.
A man who has harmed you needs you to deserve it, so that he can still feel good about himself. And he will find excuses to think that, because humans are good at telling stories.
Welfare takers don't hate you even though your taxes keep them alive. They hate you because your taxes keep them alive.
The criminal underclass doesn't rob you because they hate you. They hate you because they rob you.
The teeming brown hordes of the third world don't hate you because of history. They hate you because they want to ruin your country and take all your stuff.
Bernie Sanders doesn't try to tax away everything you have because he hates you. He hates you because he wants to tax away everything you have.
It's important to understand this difference.
If a man hates you because you have hurt him, you can appease him. You can apologize, you can make amends, and he can forgive you if he chooses to.
Because forgiving you doesn't violate his self-image.
But if a man hates you because he has hurt you, then you can never appease him. The more you are kind to him, the more you try to placate him, the more sympathy and understanding and gifts you provide, the more he will find reasons to hate you.
Because if you are good, then he is bad. So you can never be good in his eyes.
This is why no amount of sympathy is ever enough. This is why reparations for fictional injuries are a demand that never ceases.
This is why communists want to kill you, no matter how much you benefit them. And the more you do for them, the more they will hate you and want to kill you.
You must never turn the other cheek unless you struck first. You must never apologize unless you have actually done wrong.
You must never pay the Dane-geld, or you will never be rid of the Dane.
You have to fight them. You have no choice.
Because they do not hate for your sins. They hate you for theirs.
And they will continue to hate you until you punish them. Only when they have been punished do they stop needing to tell stories about how you really deserved what they did.
Mercy is for after you take vengeance, not before.
You’re the biggest idiot if you bring a poisonous snake into your home, feed it, protect it, take care of it, and then convince yourself it will love you back
A snake does not stop being poisonous because you treated it kindly
If someone openly tells you they hate you and want to destroy you, believe them....they really do

I think what's happening in the Western Europe is that fiscal discipline has gone out the window in much the same way parental discipline has (in fact, it might be related).
The fact that strikes are too often the natural response to budgetary restraint tells me that a large part of the French electorate is living in denial of the basic constraints of public finance. This is like denying the law of gravity. Markets obviously have taken notice.
It's the same when parents stop demanding discipline and enforcing boundaries - children grow to become less able to handle delayed gratification or the consequences of their choices.
Societies that lose the habit of fiscal restraint follow a similar path. Spending becomes an entitlement. Deficits are treated as temporary or someone else’s problem. The hard arithmetic of interest payments and primary balances is dismissed as austerity.
The bond market is sending signals saying "stop." What scares the market is something other than the burning cars. It is what they symbolize - that there is so little understanding of the need for fiscal consolidation.
In April, there is a presidential election. Mélenchon wants the central bank to cancel debt, and Marine Le Pen wants to lower the retirement age. The market might be starting to fear the election more than the debt itself.
In 1981, François Mitterrand promised a break with capitalism. Capital responded by breaking with France, and two years later he was forced to change course. Back then, France could devalue. Today, the country has the euro.
And be careful about counting on the European Central Bank (ECB) to come to the rescue as it did during the euro crisis. Back then, inflation was too low, and the ECB could print money without compromising its target. Today, inflation is too high.
As the sick man of Europe, France should consider the Chinese concept of chi ku (吃苦) - eating bitterness. It is the idea of willingly enduring hardship, delayed gratification, in the belief that perseverance builds strength and later reward.
China’s rapid industrialization and infrastructure build-out were not painless; they involved massive savings, hard trade-offs, and a cultural willingness to accept hardships and restraints for future gains.
Admiring Chinese growth while rejecting the discipline that made it possible is incoherent. Without a willingness to eat some bitterness on the fiscal front, French admiration for China’s results remains hollow, and the bond market will continue to impose its own, less voluntary version of discipline.

In free nations, we investigate crimes to see who is guilty of them.
In communist tyrannies, they investigate men to see what they can be punished for.
