This is one variations we use to diversify form shooting… adding movement, while staying locked in on form. Shooters need to be able to find their “positions” in a variety of movements & angles.
Posture: Chest & Chin up! Hips down and back.

A few tips to improve your step back:
1. Step hard to rim to change defenders stance
2. Long low push to create space
3. When moving to your shooting side, square in the air (get shooting side to rim on the step back)
4. Land with feet roughly shoulder width apart for balance
Upgrade you spot shooting by including some decision making and randomness:
- Add a soft closeout or fly by
- Players change the passing angle from shot to shot
- track shooting % or play make it take it to increase competitiveness
