Korra was literally the one who LEFT THE SPIRIT PORTALS OPEN, which led to spirit vines spreading throughout Republic City. Humans saw a potential power source and harnessed it.
A lot of this could’ve been avoided if she’d just closed the damn portals, but somehow y’all still blame HUMANS for everything
And yes I do now think it’s 99% likely the Cataclysm in #AvatarSevenHavens was caused by humans using spirit energy as a power source, thereby draining the vitality of the Spirit World and maybe also the Physical World.
I bet Korra’s attack on Republic City actually saved it!
