For centuries, Jews were singled out, demonized, and held to standards demanded of no one else. Today, Israel has become the Jew among nations at the United Nations.
Israel is entitled to the same standards of justice as every other nation—no more and no less.
Antisemitism does not become acceptable because it is stamped with the seal of the UN. This so-called Commission of Inquiry is a biased, illegitimate inquisition. We reject it. @AmbUNReform
If you worked as hard in the gym as you did gaslighting Jews, you’d be David fucking Goggins

Today I’m wearing my keffiyeh jacket to show my solidarity with Gaza.

So it’s an unjust war… just so long as you change the definition of a just war
Michael Walzer published “Just and Unjust Wars,” an attempt to delineate the rights and wrongs of warfare in both its causes and its conduct, in 1977. In the nearly 50 years since, no other book on the subject has matched its influence. The precepts are not complicated: it is just to defend your country from an invasion and it is unjust to invade a country that has not attacked you—although Walzer does allow for exceptions, mostly for humanitarian causes. It is just to assume certain risks to avoid civilian casualties and it is unjust to bomb towns indiscriminately to compel an enemy to surrender. The justice of going to war—what philosophers call jus ad bellum—is separate from jus in bello, the justice of how a war is fought.
The war in Gaza has made Walzer rethink one of the book’s fundamental principles. “The wall between jus ad bellum and jus in bello, which had sustained his theory for almost half a century, was no longer sturdy,” Jordi Graupera writes. As Walzer said to him, “There is a sense in which the carnage of Gaza, the ongoing carnage, simply made the war unjust.” Read about why a philosopher of war is now reconsidering his seminal work: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/T7…
I just want one honest pro-Palestinian activist who says “I don’t care how many Palestinians have to die for my virtue signaling.”

JUST IN: The @nytimes neglects to correct after falsely reporting that all reported 750,000 Palestinian refugees from the 1948 war were EXPELLED.
Multiple media outlets including AFP, Guardian and Reuters have previously corrected the identical error, which ignores that the vast majority fled at the urging of their own leaders.

For the innumerate idiots who claim US funding to Israel is diverting huge amounts from the US budget.
Like @AbdulElSayed .

Remember that both the capture of Eichmann and the Entebbe raid were globally condemned.
Those who sacrifice the security of the Jewish state for the approval of the gentiles will have neither.
Modern Jewish nationalism exists because Herzl saw millions of educated modern Frenchmen degenerate into a shambling, gibbering mob of antisemitic biomass the instant the Dreyfus Affair gave them the permission structure to do so.
If you want Bibi and company out of office, that’s understandable, but history has plainly shown us that when the mob successfully intimidates Jews into complying with one of their wishes, they never, EVER stop there.
Replying to @BillAckman
When two Arab armies supported by the USSR launched a surprise attack against Israel in 1973, all of Europe except Portugal condemned Israel and banned the US from using their airspace to resupply Israel. Israel had a left-wing government. There is nothing new under the sun.
Not only can I easily provide video when I make a claim, I can set it to Macklemore to prove you’re both evil hate mongers

What a beautiful Sunday for the soul! 🍎✡️
Started the day apple picking and ended it celebrating the dedication of a new Torah at Chabad of Beverly-Salem.
Three years ago, I attended Yom Kippur services with Rabbi Mendel Barber. There were just FOUR of us.
Today, I watched a community so full of Jewish life and pride that Rabbi Mendel has had to rent a bigger space to accommodate its growth.
To have witnessed that journey, while experiencing my own journey toward Judaism, is something deeply personal and emotional for me.
Seeing a new Torah welcomed into this growing community was truly special. Sharing the celebration with my good friend @redwhitebluejew made it even better.
Rabbi Mendel, look how far you’ve come. I’m grateful to have witnessed it.
Am Yisrael Chai! 🇮🇱

False. This is called terrorist propaganda.
Assuming GC IV applies (it doesn't: xitter.cf/BrianCox_RLTW/status/2…, but assuming it does), Article 33 prohibits "collective PENALTIES" (pic 1). And Article 49 prohibits forcible transfers OUTSIDE "occupied" territory, while PERMITTING "total or partial evacuation" if "imperative military reasons so demand" (pic 2).
As @IDF has clarified here @X (all you have to do is check), the evacuations & demolitions were not "penalties" at all. And they were undertaken BECAUSE imperative military reasons so demand (pic 3, not to mention the condemned structures were erected illegally to begin with).
But this is how the scam works. It doesn't matter what @Israel does. And it doesn't matter what transgressions Palestinians commit.
Anti-Israel activists will find a way to blame 🇮🇱 while erasing the conditions created by Palestinians that prompted the security measures or other response.
Usually the anti-Israel rhetoric relies on rampant popular #legaldisinformation. But because the LANGUAGE of international law is often invoked, those who simply don't know any better (or who are simply wilfully ignorant) buy into the rubbish.
It's a hoax - always has been. And the practical effect is that political violence & terrorist activity, like the checkpoint attack that prompted these particular security measures in the first place, are excused & justified - all in the name of falsely condemning the world's only predominantly Jewish state.
Do your part. Learn how to recognize legal disinformation.
And don't allow yourself to be misled by anti-Israel, terror-supporting propaganda - no matter how popular or pervasive it may be.

Oz had three GOP opponents in his primary. None made an issue of his religion. You should already know this.
So what’s the difference between Oz and Abdul?
Oz is normal. Abdul is an extremist. He blames terrorism on US policies. He’s endorsed by the Muslim Brotherhood. Members of the MB donate to him.
Stop shielding Abdul’s risky extremism by hiding behind Abdul’s religion.
