Wolverine Icon Hugh Jackman Celebrates His 58th Birthday 🎬🎂 Hugh Jackman became a global star as Logan / Wolverine in the X-Men franchise, turning the gruff mutant into one of the most recognizable superhero performances of the modern era. He later gave the character an emotional farewell in Logan before returning once again in Deadpool & Wolverine. Beyond Wolverine, Jackman has moved easily between musicals, drama, action, romance, and animation. His standout work includes P. T. Barnum in The Greatest Showman, Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Gabriel Van Helsing in Van Helsing, Robert Angier in The Prestige, and Charlie Kenton in Real Steel. Some of his notable roles include: • Logan / Wolverine (X-Men franchise / Logan / Deadpool & Wolverine) • Roddy St. James (Flushed Away) • Bunnymund / Easter Bunny (Rise of the Guardians) • Memphis (Happy Feet) • P. T. Barnum (The Greatest Showman) • Jean Valjean (Les Misérables) • Gabriel Van Helsing (Van Helsing / Van Helsing: The London Assignment) • Sir Lionel Frost (Missing Link) • Robert Angier / Gerald Root (The Prestige) • Charlie Kenton (Real Steel) • Keller Dover (Prisoners) • Big Greg (Koala Man) • Dante (Human Resources) • Leopold (Kate & Leopold) • The Drover (Australia / Faraway Downs) Wolverine may be the role most closely tied to Hugh Jackman, but The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, The Prestige, Real Steel, and his animated performances have made his career just as memorable beyond the claws. Happy 58th Birthday, Hugh Jackman! 🎉🎬
