"i tried to be perfect around everyone and it kept me distant from everyone."
"other people matter too much."
"islands of isolation, dreaming of who they want to become but not actually becoming anything."
There is a phenomena in the narcissistic abuse survivor communities where narcissists believe themselves to be the victim of abuse so they are the ones most likely to enter those communities and then fund the sociopathic life coaches who peddle pseudoscience like Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP).

everyone clowns on adhd people when they pop 30mg of adderall and start crying about how “they finally know what it’s like to be normal” but they’re low key right. humans are meant to be on high dose amphetamines

Almost like femininity is a performance
This sentiment is to separate yourself from those who self ID. If you carry this out through horseshoe theory it's sort of funny, in a way. Cis women get attacked and/or police called on them when they are Bathrooming While Clocky™. I imagine the headspace dialogue goes something like, "this self-id piece of work thinks they can invade women's spaces without transitioning their gender expression to match their identity? I'll show them!"
In this clip, I ask Steph Richards (@PompeySteph) about whether her advocacy for trans people to live as women extends to anyone who simply identifies as a woman, even if they have not made meaningful and recognizable steps towards a transition...
Hear her surprising answer.....
Meme idea for later so I don’t forget: crazed anime smile in a straight jacket cackling next to sad anime doomer and it reads, “two types of dysphoric neverpassers”
Ok now this post is epic

The worst part of HRT not doing shit for a late transitioner? The same people who encouraged you to stop repping now shun and ignore you, because your failure became a cognitive hazard for the others. They focus on the ten lucky cases that turn out fine and pretend we don't exist
So here is my brain's thought process when making this:
-your post evoked a thought experiment
-allow kids to block their puberty until they're ready, i agree.
-then the idea of a 30 year old late transitioner not knowing themselves enough to recognize dysphoria and downplaying it their entire lives or w/e made me think of Nick Mullen for some reason. Then I just shat this out in a few minutes in photoshop. Dang, look at the time. I need to take my medications.
