Itβs historically normal for the presidentβs party to lose midterm seats (18 of 20 House cycles since 1946; avg. loss ~26).
I am not going to panic.

Whatβs that Ilhan Omar?
Your campaign enforcer Guhaad Hashi Said pleaded guilty to stealing ~$3M in fake child meals, and Safari Restaurantβs Salim Said, where you celebrated your 2018 win and filmed promos, just got 30 years for $44M in the same Feeding Our Future scam. Maybe start there.
DeSantis will be running in 2028.
I have no doubt now.
Would you vote for him?
π¨ WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"
"I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."
I am SO thankful Florida held the line. We avoided some of the MOST horrendous US House wipeouts (still losing some) and our statewide remained red. The legislature is still red
2028 is our only next chance to make a dent in this.

Charlieβs vision for Turning Point Action was always bigger than one election. He wanted a permanent, year-round operation with the people, relationships, and resources to compete in every cycle. He knew there would be victories and setbacks because he had experienced both and thatβs why he built for both.
Last night, we saw races Republicans once won handily by double digits come down to the thinnest of margins, and in some cases, flip entirely. Democratic socialist candidates made the cost of gas, groceries, and housing the center of their campaigns. And voters responded at the ballot box. A rising stock market doesnβt mean much when nearly half of Americans donβt have a 401K and just want to put gas in their trucks, put food on the table, and provide a good life for their families.
But every time socialism has tried it has failed, because socialism concentrates economic power in the hands of the government instead of trusting individuals to build prosperity for themselves and their families. Thatβs fundamentally at odds with the free enterprise, individual liberty, and opportunity at the heart of the American experiment. We can disagree with the solutions voters were offered while still recognizing why they were looking elsewhere for answers. Exit polls clearly showed that the American people are concerned about the state of the economy and the war in Iran. This isnβt a surprise to us because weβve heard the same concerns from our students around the country for months and weβve been concerned about it too.
The biggest mistake conservatives can make right now would be to allow this moment to become another exercise in finger-pointing, in-fighting, or trying to secure their own political preservation. That does not solve the problems the American people are demanding be solved.
Turning Point was born out of a moment just like this following the Obama era, which was itself a reaction to the political frustration of the early 2000βs. Our history reminds us that moments of disappointment can actually be moments of renewal and infinite opportunity.
Americans are not looking for labels and donβt subscribe to unquestioned party loyalty anymore either. They will support the candidates who can both speak to their concerns and deliver on what THEY need and dream about for their families. And those needs are the same as they have always been: an affordable home, safe communities, and the hope that the next generation will inherit a country with more opportunity than the last generation did. That is what the American dream has promised to all of us.
I miss Charlie so much every single day, but especially on a day like today. He always said that when things are going well, we need to stay humble. And when things arenβt going the way we want, we need to stay positive, keep our faith, and get back to work.
Thatβs exactly what weβre doing over at Turning Point today. We are going to listen, study the results, and spend the next two years making the case for how conservative, free market solutions, and a renewed focus on our countryβs founding principles can address the problems the American people face. And weβre going to keep building the permanent infrastructure Charlie envisioned, strengthening our relationships in communities across the country, and preparing for 2028 and beyond.
If you woke up feeling discouraged today, thereβs more important work to do than ever. Our principles havenβt changed and neither has our mission.
To every staff member, student, volunteer, and ballot chaser who gave their time and energy to this mission this cycle, thank you. I know Charlie would be unbelievably proud of each and every one of you, and I am, too.

TOLD YA!!! π«
π¨ If people genuinely think that the Democrats are going to bring ANY useful policy to the forefront, you're in for a rude awakening.π¨
They will NOT introduce any meaningful legislation, nor will they bring any real solutions to the table.
All you will see for the next 2 years is grandstanding, "I told you so's," TRUMP blaming, impeachment attempts against anyone serving in the current administration, and constant obstruction of ANY legislation put forth by ANY Republican.
Why? Because their entire political identity has become rooted in one thing: OPPOSING DONALD J. TRUMP.
Not governing. Not solving problems. Not putting the American people first.
Just RESIST, OBSTRUCT, INVESTIGATE, IMPEACH, and REPEAT.
They would rather see this country fail under President Trump than watch America succeed and have to give him an ounce of credit for it.
And here's the kicker. They'll spend the next two years creating legislative gridlock, then turn around in 2028 and campaign on the very dysfunction they helped create.
That's not leadership. That's political sabotage disguised as public service.
The American people deserve a Congress that WORKS for them, not one that treats their livelihoods, their safety, and their future as collateral damage in a never ending political vendetta.
At some point, Democrats are going to have to answer one very simple question:
Beyond hating Donald Trump, WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU STAND FOR?

According to exit polls, 74% of voters said the Iran war was a crucial or major factor in their vote.
62% of those voters voted Democrat today.
The Iran War was a massive political miscalculation.

Itβs time to end the Iran War.
Many on the right mercilessly attacked the VPβs efforts at peace over the summer. I was mercilessly attacked for supporting the MOU and for pointing out the war accentuated the sense many Americans had (both real and perceived) that things like burritos were too expensive.
These are just my opinions, but they also appear to be the opinions of millions of voters, and they spoke loudly last night. Americans donβt want foreign wars. They are sick of wasted blood and treasure in the Middle East. They want peace, cheap gas, and every last drop of political energy exhausted working on solving domestic issues.

You were right about nothing. Popularity doesnβt determine whatβs true. The masses are easily fooled and led to self-destruction.
Our Founders understood this, which is why weβre not a democracy.
There are however plenty of failures to reflect on. This is a pivotal moment. We will either adapt and overcome or this country will perish by being led astray by fools and electing those that are determined to see its demise.
Time to regroup and fight on.

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Do you?
This pledge means a commitment to our country, the principles on which it was founded, the Constitution that protects those principles, and the freedoms we have a responsibility to preserve.
Anyone actively working to undermine or destroy the very principles our Constitution stands for is not a patriot and stands against America.
And to the Republicans who have been blackpilling, telling people not to vote, sitting out these midterms, or choosing not to vote Republican: Who even are you? You have lost sight of what America means, what it was founded on, and what weβre supposed to be standing up to protect. Shame on you. You are not patriots.
But I am. And I will fight shoulder to shoulder with everyone who is until the end. Under God.

I wonβt pretend Iβm happy about the election results. Iβm disappointed, and Iβm concerned that some of the Democrats elected will push this country in a direction far removed from the principles I believe in.
Respecting the election process doesnβt mean agreeing with the outcome or giving anyone a blank check.
My convictions didnβt expire when the polls closed. I still believe in faith, family, personal responsibility, local control, and a government that remembers whose money itβs spending.
On the ranch, when you see trouble coming, you check your fences and get to work. Thatβs what we need to do now: stay informed, speak up, help good people get involved, and hold elected officials accountable, regardless of party.
I can treat my neighbors with respect and still stand firmly against policies I believe are wrong.
An election doesnβt change my principles. It reminds me why standing up for them matters.
Trump will be referred to as The godfather.

Trump said, "If I lose the midterm elections, I'll veto everything."
Hey @grok, is this true? And what exactly does "veto" mean?
