🚨 The Last Chance for Women’s CS? The @WINIO_AI tournament with a $5,000 prize pool is getting closer, but there is a reason to be concerned. As of today, only 6 teams have registered for the open qualifiers. There are still 11 days left, so reaching the required 16 teams is absolutely possible. However, we would love to feel more confident that the tournament will actually take place. There have been rumors that the event could be cancelled again if fewer than 16 teams register. We sincerely hope that won't happen, but the current situation is worrying. Since the organizers aren't particularly well-known online, many teams and players may not even know this tournament exists. 💜 If you care about the future of women’s CS, please help spread the word! I had TBI and stroke-like symptoms that prevented me from finishing my degree in 2015. Add ND on top with cPTSD made it a difficult road of recovery. I’ll be damned if I lose what took so much time and hard work to get back.

If women can manage to wear uncomfortable bras for hours at a time, able-bodied adults can manage a little cloth on the nose and mouth for an hour or less so grandparents and immune- compromised ppl can grocery shop or see the doctor without getting RSV, flu or worse.
