In furtherance of my earlier correspondence, my legal team, @losensolicitors & @KinandCounsel, have also written to MTN Nigeria regarding the material discrepancies identified in the two documents supplied by MTN in response to my complaint.
What makes this particularly interesting is that these are not discrepancies arising from my/our own calculations or assumptions. They are inconsistencies identified within the records MTN itself provided.
Let the data speak.

Dear @MTNNG I FINALLY HAVE A RESPONSE FOR YOU
After a thorough review and analysis of your response to my earlier sent mail and the documents attached thereto, including an independent assessment by a number of data experts, and having allowed eight (8) days from the date of receipt of your correspondence for the materials provided to be properly scrutinised, I have now concluded my review.
My formal response to your correspondence has accordingly been sent to your email, with the relevant authorities previously copied into this matter by you duly retained in copy @NgComCommission and @fccpcnigeria
For the avoidance of doubt, this Twitter post is also part of my response to MTN’s correspondence. My decision to communicate publicly on the matter does not derogate from, replace or constitute a waiver of my formal written response. Rather, it is an additional exercise of my right to publicly communicate my experience and position concerning a matter that is already the subject of a formal complaint and regulatory engagement.
All rights and remedies available to me remain expressly reserved.

As a network infrastructure engineer, I experienced this exact backend anomaly. My 800GB @MTNNG yearly plan was wiped out in just 53 days. I monitored the granular IPDR logs there was zero local hardware output or traffic to justify a depletion of that scale.
I currently have an unresolved petition with the @ConsumersNCC regarding this exact timeline. @MTNNG relies on blaming "background apps," but they refuse to provide forensic, server side transparency. I am ready to share my technical logs and correspondence to support this collective push for accountability.

My original outcry was about ONE experience; my own experience with MTN and the depletion of my data allocation however the responses that followed opened the door to numerous other subscribers sharing concerns about their own experiences and that changed everything.
We are no longer seeking answers only for ONE. We are seeking to properly examine these concerns and demand accountability for ALL subscribers whose experiences are supported by evidence but we cannot do this effectively without you.
We need you to help us push this everywhere you can on X, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, your communities, groups and every legitimate publicity channel available to you.
Those signatures will demonstrate the breadth of public concern and strengthen our collective call for proper investigation and accountability.
We also need as much firsthand evidence as possible. If you have experienced unusual, unexplained or disputed MTN data depletion, please submit your details and supporting evidence through the evidence form.
PLEASE NOTE: Nobody needs to pay anything on the petition page. If you see an option asking for payment, DO NOT PAY. Simply choose the option to SHARE the petition.
We are not asking anyone to make allegations they cannot support. We are asking people to speak from their own experience, provide evidence where available, and help us establish the facts.

Let me break this down for your clearly struggling comprehension: asking a stranger to bankroll you for a first date is wrong.
