BREAKING: FRESH REVELATIONS LINK PRESIDENT TINUBU’S AIDE SUNDAY ASEFON AND Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's IN-LAW, EKITI-BORN FHA BOSS OYETUNDE OJO TO THE ALLEGED ASSASSINATION PLOT AGAINST ME IN ADO-EKITI!
Fresh information from our sources points to Asefon Sunday Dayo, former NANS President and SSA to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on "Student Engagement," as one of the alleged ringleaders of the October 30, 2026, assassination attempt against me and members of my team in Ado-Ekiti.
Our sources identify Asefon’s bodyguard and enforcer, Ayodeji Akintade Ifeoluwa, as one of those deployed to lead the attack (he was the one in green polo wielding and using machette on our team members) alongside Sola Adenijo, aka Solar, whom we have identified as a principal coordinator of the armed assault.
We have also received information implicating "Hon" Oyetunde Oladimeji Ojo, Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Tinubu’s son-in-law and husband of Folashade Tinubu-Ojo. Our sources claim he mobilized Sola Adenijo aka "Solar" for the operation.
Asefon was in Ekiti for a #CityBoys Movement event on Thursday, October 29. According to information available to us, DSS operatives and Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s Chief Security Officer, CSP Ayodele Akinlua, alerted individuals connected to the event about my presence. We are informed that a prolonged meeting followed, during which the attack was planned.
The following morning, CSP Akinlua called Moyinoluwa Olowoyo Gigabytes Nation, popularly known as Gigabytes, an #EndSARS activist and member of the Take It Back (TIB) Movement, warning him that my safety could not be guaranteed if I participated in political activities in Ekiti State.
Our sources further claim that discussions were held with "Hon" Makinde Araoye, organizer of the @ikogosimarathon Marathon, concerning the cancellation of my participation in Saturday’s race. We have received information suggesting that the announcement was deliberately delayed in anticipation of the planned attack against me. Hon Makinde Araoye announced soon as the attack took place, stating I was banned from participating in Ikogosi marathon
According to the information we have gathered, the initial plan was to attack us at MIDAS 90.5 FM station in Ado-Ekiti, where I granted a one-hour interview between 12 noon and 1 p.m. on Friday, October 30.
However, we left the radio station before the group reportedly assembling at Fajuyi Park could complete its mobilization.
Our sources indicate that individuals on motorcycles subsequently followed our team, tracking our movements with the aid of another person until armed attackers descended on us at Tawakalitu Restaurant in Dalimore area of Ado-Ekiti, where we were brutally assaulted.
We have also received disturbing accounts alleging that DSS operatives and police personnel accompanied or assisted the attackers. These claims emanated from eyewitnesses. the police CP in Ekiti State Command, Michael Falade later claimed it was an "altercation" and that those of us attacked only sustained minor injuries.
Remember, Asefon Sunday Dayo previously threatened to attack me when he was NANS President.
We survived the brutal attack, and the revolutionary struggle must continue.

BREAKING: MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH AS CHILLING ATTACK VIDEO REVEALS FACES OF ATTACKERS IN BRUTAL ASSAULT ON @SOWORE, TEAM IN ADO-EKITI
Fresh video evidence has emerged showing the faces of individuals identified as participants in the October 30, 2026, armed attack on leaders and me, as well as members of the African Action Congress (AAC) and members of his team in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, who assaulted one of our team members.
The breakthrough comes amid disturbing revelations that CCTV recordings from Tawakalitu Restaurant, where the attack occurred, have reportedly been completely erased after police officers and the DSS took possession of the equipment and took it to Government House only to return it this evening without any images.
Today, I contacted the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, Michael Falade; the Ado-Ekiti Central Police Station DPO, Mustapha Mohammed; and the state's Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Commander to demand updates on the investigation.
Shockingly, the officers claimed there was "no complainant" because I had not submitted a written statement, despite police rescuing the victims, taking them to their hospital, arresting suspects, and recovering weapons, stolen phones, and other devices.
I questioned the officers about stolen phones electronically traced to the Governor's Lodge and the missing CCTV recordings; they denied knowledge and abruptly ended their conversations.
In another development, Tawakalitu Restaurant management reportedly confirmed that a DPO returned the CCTV equipment, but the recordings had been completely wiped. The management refused to identify the officer responsible for returning the equipment.
This is an indication of a coordinated cover-up by the @PoliceNG hierarchy in Ekiti State
However, the newly recovered video provides crucial leads in identifying individuals involved in the attack.
Their identities and roles need a credible independent body to investigate, and we call for the removal of the CP and other officers involved in the cover-up.

PRESS RELEASE
EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF LIST OF GOVERNORSHIP/STATE HOUSES OF ASSEMBLY CANDIDATES AND SUSPENSION OF PVC COLLECTION IN OSUN STATE
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) wishes to inform political parties and the public that it has approved an extension of the deadline for the submission (upload on the dedicated portal) of the list of candidates for the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly Elections for the February 2027 General Election.
The submission window, which according to the revised Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the General Election was originally scheduled to close, Saturday, 8th August, 2026, has been extended to Tuesday, 11th August, 2026. The extension follows growing appeals by political parties for additional time to complete the process.
In a related development, the Commission wishes to notify voters who applied for replacement of lost, damaged or defaced PVCs, that the window to print downloadable copies of their cards will expire by midnight of Sunday 9th August, 2026. This is to allow the Commission compile the data of downloaded PVCs for final statistics of total PVCs collected ahead of the August 15th Osun Governorship Election.
It will be recalled that collection of PVCs in Osun State commenced at Registration Area (RA) level from 22nd to 28th July, 2026. Owing to complaints of large crowds and difficulties encountered by voters at collection centres, the Commission approved an extension of RA-level collection to 31st July, 2026, before collection moved to LGA level, running from 1st to 7th August, 2026.
The Commission also wishes to state that replacement Downloadable PVCs have been made available to voters in Odo-Otin and Ife Central local government areas whose cards were carted away by hoodlums who invaded the two centres. The Commission reiterates that the stolen cards cannot be used to vote.
INEC reassures the people of Osun State of its readiness to conduct a free, fair, credible and inclusive governorship election on 15th August, 2026.

In 2020, peaceful protesters in Nigeria were massacred by security forces at the Lekki Toll Bridge.
In 2023, peaceful Congolese protesters have also been massacred.
In 2019, Congolese people waited for the Supreme Court to disqualify Tshisekedi, who submitted a false university diploma, or at the very least, requested recounts.
In 2023, Nigerian people with #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary are waiting for justice to be served against the man who also lied about having a diploma from Chicago State University and rigged the election.
Our struggles are shared, and so must be our fight for justice.

As Congolese citizens, we find ourselves in a challenging situation. Our own government is responsible for violence against us. We can no longer rely on the East African Community, which merely observes our suffering. The so-called rebel groups not only harm us but also exploit our mineral resources. Additionally, foreign governments appear to accept the current situation, supporting a regime that perpetuates violence and even proposing negotiations with rebels and terrorists who continue to harm us.
In this political landscape, Congolese citizens have no choice but to depend on one another as we bravely strive for survival, democracy, peace, and justice.
Solidarity among people, is the only way.
