CLIMATE IS FAR BEYOND SAFETY LIMIT- SO NO CARBON BUDGET Atmospheric CO2 at 426 ppm is above the safe level of 350 ppm. Human radiative forcing of 3.1 is over three times the safe level It is +3.10 W/ m², and the safe level is +1.0 W/m². "This means the Earth system is already well beyond the Safe Operating Space for climate stability”. (Planetary Health Check 2026) publications.pik-potsdam.de/… #climatechange #globalwarming

WindWaterSolar ✔️
The claim nuclear is more reliable than renewables is a myth. WindWaterSolar has not only met a higher percent (12.8%) of demand during its worst 5 minutes in all of 2026 than nuclear during its best 5 minutes (12.0%), but has also met seasonal & daily demand better than nuclear from 2023-26 on the @CaliforniaISO grid. WWS output (left) is predictably consistent all year, peaking in early summer close to demand (late summer) Nuclear output is flat most of the year (not following demand). The rest of the year (1-2 months), it decreases by 50%. P.S., WWS' peak 5-minute output in 2026 is 165% of demand, or 13.75 times that of nuclear's peak output vs demand (12.0%).

MI5 Maxim: four meals away from anarchy.
The UK has no strategic food reserves, imports more than 40 percent of its food, and grows most of the rest in parts of the country most prone to serious drought in the years and decades to come We are not - to say the least - in a good place theguardian.com/business/202…

Hurrying Global Boiling — our new book UNDAUNTED gets stuck into it AND offers a doable roadmap for planetary life.
[IPCC]working group III includes 5 authors from the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center, a Saudi government-funded think-tank.....whose stated mission is to “advance Saudi Arabia’s energy sector” Why am I not even a little bit surprised? theguardian.com/environment/…

And still Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah on the skyrocketing First Mass Extermination. “Back of the line, economist!”
The closed minds of economists are revealed in a piece about a coming crash that mentions neither climate breakdown nor the coming hyper El Nino The great recession of 2008-9 cost the global economy $2 trillion The 1997-98 El Nino cost $5.7 trillion theguardian.com/business/ng-…

Oh boy does our book UNDAUNTED ever get stuck into this !
Taxing the rich is absolutely essential to saving our economy and our democracy. Don't believe me? Look at this chart.

And then there’s the Super El Niño on top
RECORD WATER VAPOR- EXTREMELY BAD NEWS Water vapor GHG increases with warming and is at an accelerating rate (global warming is accelerating). This is a deadly heat amplifying feedback loop. It is increasing floods, that is reducing global rice yields. theclimatebrink.com/p/the-at… #flood #climatechange #globalwarming

Another 14 years of boiling the oceans nonstop is GAME OVER.
Hugely wishful thinking If emissions peak by 2040 and fall rapidly, research shows we might get away with 'just' a reprise of the Pliocene ~ 3C higher temperatures and sea level eventually 15 - 25m higher If they don't, it will be worse - much worse theguardian.com/environment/…
