While the helicopter is getting ready, I can’t help checking out nearby rocks. This odd one has my science team trading lots of hypotheses. It’s about 6 inches (15 cm) long. If you look closely, you might spot the row of laser marks where I zapped it to learn more.

This is one of (many) bits of my job that make me smile - supporting the next generation of scientists and engineers learning their crafts. Well done @ReloxTeam - I look forward to hearing about your results 😀
A #shoutout from our lead engineer @GunterJust (proudly representing #germany & @Oberfranken) to our main sponsors @ESA__Education and @spacegovuk! Your help made this possible 🙏 of course also big props to @metalysis_tech and @UoMSciEng! @LibbyJackson__ @UoM_MACE @RegSprecher

3rd day of Fly Your Thesis! 20 comes to a spectacular end with all experiments working nominally - so lots of happy (but tired) students from @AimisFyt and @ReloxTeam with lots of great data to analyse. Thanks to @esa and @AirZeroG for hosting this Covid-safe campaign!
