This week, House Republicans tried to pass a Constitutional amendment to keep this corrupt, extremist Supreme Court exactly as is.
@USProgressives, @CBCPAC, @HispanicCaucus & @CAPAC will fight to reform this court and restore our democracy.

When the whole team is on the same page, we win.
That’s why I brought my Congressional colleagues and LA’s public transit leaders together to talk about LA and the federal government’s gameplan to prepare the region for a successful LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
We’re taking what we learned today and from the World Cup back to Congress, and fighting for the resources that will not just showcase LA to the world, but will benefit Angelenos long after the closing ceremony.

DWC members led by @RepJudyChu and @KellyMorrisonMN sent a letter demanding that HHS reinstate Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program grants that the Trump admin cut.
Yesterday, a federal judge paused those cuts. This reinforces what we've said all along: the Trump admin can't override evidence based education with their political preferences.

Thanks @RepJudyChu for meeting with @californiaalz volunteers and pledging to cosponsor the #ASAPAct. We agree that this will provide relief to families across the U.S by allowing Medicare to cover Alzheimer's screening tests. Now, let's move #ASAP out of House Ways & Means!

Generations of leaders have fought to secure the right to vote. As we look back on the 61-year legacy of the Voting Rights Act, we are reminded that the struggle continues. Our democracy is only as strong as our right to vote, and @USProgressives will never stop fighting to protect it.

On July 20 The Planetary Society joined @JohnsHopkins, @airandspace, @SpaceNews_Inc and the Congressional Planetary Science Caucus with Rep @DonJBacon and @RepJudyChu on Capitol Hill to celebrate the landing anniversary of Viking 1. We gathered with scientists, policymakers, and space advocates to reflect on what Viking taught us and what it set in motion for Mars exploration.
Grateful to everyone who came together to mark this milestone in planetary science.

I was grateful to join @RepJudyChu and @exploreplanets to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Viking 1 launch. American innovation turned a 90-day mission into more than six years of discovery, including the first successful U.S. landing on Mars and helping map more than 97% of the planet’s surface. Take that, Soviets!
