Trump gave Elon the power. He gave him the power under the guise of doge to steal our data with a back door to Russia the minute they did it. They are now in full operation with their coup and I don’t know how we’re gonna get out of this because they’re already implementing it. They will challenge every election that a democrat wins, which means they won’t certify anybody. It will be in court for months.

Why does Trump seem more comfortable with Putin & Xi than with America's democratic allies? I discussed this, the rise of autocracy, the war in Ukraine & the future of American democracy on the Democracy Paradox podcast. Listen wherever you get your podcasts: open.spotify.com/episode/3Ei…

I don’t know about everyone else but I’d really like representation from folks who care about Montana and Montanans more than their own personal interests, both R and D. #mtpol

Our president betrays Ukrainians and Washington insiders blame Zelenskyy for not handling crazy uncle Trump properly. Typical. And of course many say such things without giving their names. I get why government officials need to protect their identities (SAOs) when speaking to reporters. But how can think tankers be quoted anonymously?

I don’t know if you guys realize it, but there are no longer any checks and balances in America, which means the constitution is not being complied with people are committing crimes or crimes. The Department of justice is not releasing the Epstein files as they were order to by federal judge so Congress is on vacation till after that midterms so we have no checks and balances he can do whatever he wants oh, and ICE is killing people.

WE told you Trump would try to rig the election. Well, now there is evidence that it is actually happening. They have had plenty of time to reprogram voter machines & fuck w/ the democratic process. Look into the code of the machines/ballot readers. GET A RECEIPT FOR YOUR VOTE

I am in the accountability wing of the Democratic party. For the Epstein class. For rogue ICE agents. For pay to play corporations. For those who DOGEd our nation. For public officials & family members who enriched themselves. For DOD leaders ordering strikes on fishermen in Caribbean & a school in Iran. I am done with elite impunity. We need investigations & prosecutions. That is why I am introducing the first ever Truth and Accountability Commission. thehill.com/homenews/house/6…

We verify signatures. We track ballots. We reconcile the number issued and returned. We maintain chains of custody. We audit election results. At the same time, we allow a rancher 60 miles from town to fill out a ballot at the kitchen table instead of losing half a day's work driving to a polling place in #Montana #WeVoteAbsentee #FairAndFree #mtpol

Did the @MTDems make legally enforceable commitments, violate their own bylaws, or engage in conduct that caused financial harm to a candidate in the 2026 U.S. Senate primary? #mtpol #mtsen #mtnews

If you haven't studied the history, culture, politics, or languages of other countries -- if you haven't lived in other countries -- then it's very convenient to have a theory of the world which asserts that all states behave alike -- unitary actors guided by rational calculations of self-interest (i.e., they are all just like us). But they aren't. Putin does not think like us.

Ossoff: "I have no interest in running for president in 2028, and to be very frank, with just 16 days before the polls close, I want to urge everybody out there to remain focused on the task at hand. I'd be interested to know what people consider to be "corruption" because my sense is that they think a significant number or elected officials are actually pocketing government money when in reality the "corruption" that should be addressed is lavish corporate spending on elections.
CNN: GOP operatives conducting a focus group in a traditionally red Midwestern state this month were taken aback by what they heard from their own party’s voters. Asked what they blamed for rising gas prices, those voters pointed to “corrupt politicians” and “billionaires” — a response that surprised some longtime strategists who’ve never seen government corruption emerge as a top issue for so many Republican voters in congressional races. cnn.com/2026/10/18/politics/…

Can Pres candidates please hold off in attacking other possible candidates until after the midterms? Support a ballot initiative-- you don't have to attack.

The American negotiating track will continue. We’re counting on them to put more pressure on Putin, not on us. Otherwise, it’s simply unfair. As for our meetings with the American side – we expect to meet and are ready to meet in Ukraine or in Europe. If they want to meet in America, let them invite us. We’re ready to negotiate anywhere, and we’re ready for any format: three-way, two-way, four-way, five-plus – it doesn’t matter. What matters is peace. The American side has given us a signal that our meeting with them can happen next week. And, of course, in my view, Europeans need to have their own infrastructure and their own track for negotiations with Russia. We need to pursue every possible avenue to stop the war. We’ll also speak separately with Türkiye. I plan to talk separately with President Erdoğan about the sea and food security, and with representatives of Middle Eastern countries. Regarding a meeting with Putin, the United States is working on this. They have a proposal for a trilateral meeting. This meeting can take place in one of the Middle Eastern countries. The United States has always mentioned the UAE or Saudi Arabia. Another possibility is for the meeting to take place in the United States during the G20 summit. But there has been no confirmation yet from Russia or from the United States. The meeting could also take place in one of the European countries. I know that the Europeans are starting contacts about this. We’ll see how things turn out a little later. From answers to journalists’ questions. (3/3)

#Misogyny—online and offline—is an urgent threat to gender equality. Sometimes it's subtle. Other times it's dismissed as harmless. And too often, it's normalized. #ForAllWomenAndGirls, it's time to challenge misogyny wherever it shows up. There's #NoExcuse not to!
