We should be routinely armed & able to respond immediately without having to bank on armed support getting there in time - not their fault but the damage is usually already done! Thoughts with this colleague who is obviously lucky to be alive.

Remembering the 116 children and 28 adults who lost their lives 60 years ago today. Their families and friends. And the rescuers who refused to give up.
It should never have happened…

Sadly some more very tragic news I’ve been asked to share today, that PC Ben Dean 1071 of @Humberbeat died on the fourth of October. 😔
My thoughts are with PC Ben Dean’s friends, family, loved ones and of course his colleagues at this incredibly say time. 🫡

It has always happened. People want to be policed by humans. Not robots. Get over yourself.

Went to an alarm once at a carpet showroom down Raynes Park. Several of us entered with torches shining, the dust particles floating in the air, once cleared, what better time for a light sabre fight!! The CCTV was hilarious.

Ten years ago today this boy saved my life allowing me to go home to my family.
He went to create laws and draw attention to the amazing world of service animals.
Thank you Finn. Me hero.

It’s quite amusing, people want big strong men police because well big strong men. Post a video of the brutal reality of policing featuring big strong men. ‘Oh no they shouldn’t be doing that ‘

Good Friday, the 18th of April 1930, on the BBC.
At 8:45 p.m., the evening news announcer said, “Good evening. Today is Good Friday. There is no news.”
Piano music filled the rest of the 15-minute slot.
Probably the best day ever...

You have misunderstood this story. It was the courts that bailed Dogan back to the community where he offended, against strong police objections. That's why the Commissioner called them out and spoke up for victims yesterday -

It’s ongoing, but the growing number of Xperts in the Criminal Damage Act, who are plainly wrong, including ex-Officers, can be safely ignored.
There are a number of other potential offences, all prosecutable which I would imagine will be investigated.
