Lula da Silva was born into a poor family, rose through the ranks as a trade union leader, and eventually became President of Brazil. His journey is a powerful reminder that humble beginnings do not determine your future. When destiny calls, no obstacle can stand in your way!

This is my childhood Parish where I received Holy Communion for the first time in 1973 . I stopped by for morning prayers to reconnect with St Bosco , met Father Stephen Tatenda Mangoma and his colleague priest . This place forms the basis of my faith .

Before the first shots of the historic Chinhoyi 7 battle were fired, a brave young girl risked everything to cook, carry intelligence, and shield the vanguard guerrillas who launched the armed struggle. 40 years ago today, Samora Machel, Mozambique’s first president, died in a plane crash in South Africa.
According to liberation war veteran Wilfred Mhanda, Machel and ZPRA commander Nikita Mangena trained together in Algeria. Their paths would cross again during Zimbabwe’s liberation struggle.

These guys seem to think they have a monopoly over ZANU-PF. Principles and values matter, and leadership should be guided by the ideals of the party and the liberation struggle. When the time comes to stand by those principles, let us not be driven by anger or personal interests. Instead, let us uphold the values and ideals of the liberation struggle with dignity, discipline, and respect.

Mhofu, I believe that the true value lies in the fact that these conversations are happening internally. Speaking truth to one another is non-negotiable; a principle that echoes the 2018 election promise of servant leadership.

The guy messed up his opportunity to be President due to arrogance, self-centeredness, not knowing when to peak and a lack of political maturity. He has ruined his chance and it will not come again.
He has made too many powerful enemies in his quest to step-over people and using them as stepping stones while pursuing his individual interests without mutual benefit.
He will never be President. Bookmark this.

To add. Those who disappear are quick to reappear when you rise again. Worse in diaspora. Sadza Eaters will disappear like a fart as soon as you lose your job. @glenmpani 's story is a testimony of a lot here. When they reappear; run away 🏃♀️🇿🇼
