Kobe Bryant says he would hire a car service to get to road games before the team’s first bus so he could be inside the arena before the crowd arrived and prepare in complete silence, and says he would prepare meticulously for whatever looks the opposing defense was going to give him “If we had a road game, say Miami, a 7:30pm game, I’d still get up early and do weights. I’d have breakfast, get on the bus, go to shootaround, get my shots up, come back to the room, do treatment, ice, stretch. I might watch a movie, I might watch a little extra film.” “Then for the bus to the stadium, we had two buses. The first bus was generally around 4:45pm and the second bus was around 5:30pm. I was generally on the early one, just to get treatment and get shots up, because I liked getting to the arenas early.” “Sometimes I would actually get a car and leave before the first bus because even though the first bus was leaving early, there were still people coming into the stands. I liked getting to arenas when there was nobody in there and you could kind of feel the purity of the place, especially in a road environment.” “As far as how many shots I was trying to get up, it depended on how I was feeling physically and who we were playing. If I was playing the Spurs, I’d work on short-corner shots, mid-elbow shots, those types of shots because those were the shots their defense would give up. If I was playing Memphis and Tony Allen, I’d work on a lot of back-to-the-basket stuff, putting my body on Tony, making sure my footwork was right, making sure I was hiding the ball so he couldn’t swipe it. I’d go through those muscle-memory things. The positions of the shots would vary depending on the opponent.”

Does this @Porsche come with hand controls? Surely my wheelchair will fit inside !
Porsche has just shown the world what comes ABOVE the 911. Meet the Mission S. Mid-engined. Analogue rev counter. Physical switches. No giant centre touchscreen. And here's the big news: Porsche plans to make this a permanent part of its range. Not another one-off hypercar.

How good is it to see one of the greatest Able bodied athletics stars breaking the @melbmara course record?
Eliud Kipchoge wins the Nike Melbourne Marathon in CR of 2:09:08 The NIKE Melbourne Marathon was the third stop on the Eliud Kipchoge tour, and Eliud showed Melbourne the love of running! He had a course-record win! Here is what Eliud Kipchoge had to say to the media post-race: “Today was such a special day, not only running my third World Tour, but also winning in a new race record. It makes me proud to run with the younger generation and inspire the running community in Melbourne. Today was about more than sport. It was about the city's energy, the huge support along the race route, running alongside so many other runners, and a stunning finish at the MCG. No words can describe that feeling. Thank you, Melbourne.” Photos by ©️ dsm-firmenich Running Team @melbmara @Nike @NIKErunning @EliudKipchoge @AthleticsKENYA

#Cupset what an incredible result! 👏 now hopefully Athletics doesn't loose anymore track access at the state center at Albert park to Football.
SOUTH MELBOURNE ARE THE CHAMPIONS 🏆🇦🇺 THE FIRST NPL SIDE EVER TO WIN THE AUSTRALIA CUP! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. They beat Melbourne Victory on penalties after a 116th minute equaliser. One of the most extraordinary nights in Australian football history. Wow. Just wow.

Huge good luck to Ali who is racing his first Marathon in the morning at @melbmara followed by Sharnie racing Chicago. Go Squad. Hopefully Ali enjoy the Ablert park section more than I was here during an Athsvic winter road race.

Nothing better than an evening flight that is delayed over 2hrs due to Melbourne weather and having to entertain a 1yr old and then fly for 2hrs way past his bed time.

The Japanese social norm that I wish we had in Australia is: Don't behave in such a way that other people are inconvenienced, burdened, disturbed, delayed or made uncomfortable. Very simple and applicable in so many situations.

Well then looks like I am in trouble 😅
There's no protocol for "walking a lot every day" Walk 5 minutes, walk 10 minutes, get a walking pad, walk between meetings, take phone calls walking, take an evening walk The more you walk, the healthier you'll be
