Dear Secretary Bessent @SecScottBessent, My name is Everett Stern. In 2010 I was a compliance officer at @HSBC. From a back office in New Castle, Delaware, I watched billions of dollars move to drug cartels, sanctioned regimes, and terrorist organizations. The enemies of the United States. I documented it, I escalated it, and when the bank would not act, I took it to the @FBI, the @CIA, and eventually the @SECGov. The result was a $1.92 billion settlement. At the time, it was one of the largest in American history. It was also about five weeks of the bank’s profit. Not one banker was charged. Not one went to prison. I paid a different price. I lost my career, my savings, and my place in the industry I had trained for. I was blacklisted. Every door in American finance closed at once. I slept on a camping cot in a 300 square foot apartment because I could not afford a bed, and I waited tables at @PFChangs to eat. I tell you this not for sympathy, but so you understand that I know exactly what it costs to do the right thing in American finance, and exactly how little the system does in return. I made that sacrifice because I believed it would change something. Yesterday, your department fined @BankofAmerica $1.2 billion for failing to report more than $5 billion in suspicious transactions, some of it tied by your own findings to Chinese laundering networks, narcotics, and the southwest border, alongside 475 apparent sanctions violations touching Russia, Iran, and global terrorism. The bank admitted it willfully violated the Bank Secrecy Act. Fourteen years after HSBC. A bank with “America” in its name. And once again, not one individual charged. Secretary Bessent, I want to say plainly what I believe you already know. The fines are not working. A fine is paid by shareholders, absorbed by the balance sheet, and forgotten by the next earnings call. Bank of America reported earnings this morning. Nobody who set the alert thresholds, nobody who decided the 2024 cease and desist could wait, nobody who chose the backlog over the law will lose a single thing they value. Their lives are untouched. That is the entire reason the behavior repeats. This is money laundering. This is blood money. Money that reaches a cartel buys fentanyl that kills Americans. Money that reaches a terrorist organization buys the next attack. This country has fought a war on drugs and a war on terror for decades, at enormous cost in lives and treasure, and all the while we have allowed the financing to flow through institutions we charter and regulate. Cut off the money and we win. We have never seriously tried. There is also a question of equal justice that I cannot let go. Before I walked into the FBI building to report HSBC, I stopped in front of the Great Seal on the wall and read the words engraved beneath it: “Justice is the defense of our liberty.” I believed that. I still want to. But every day in this country, people go to prison for crimes that are nothing next to moving money for the people who want Americans dead. A suit, a title, and a corporate badge should not be a shield from the consequences that apply to everyone else. If a street dealer goes to prison for what he sells, the banker who moved the cartel’s money should be standing next to him. I also want to raise something that is rarely said in these conversations. Why has no one inside Bank of America come forward the way I did? The answer is that everyone in American banking knows what happened to me, and to the whistleblowers who came after. The last person who spoke up is the only policy anyone believes. That is a culture problem, and it starts with leadership, in the banks and in the agencies that regulate them. This is not a political issue. It has spanned administrations of both parties. It is a national security issue, and I am asking you to treat it as one. Three things would change the math overnight. Refer individuals for criminal prosecution. Not the analyst in the queue. The executives who set the thresholds and chose the risk. One banker in handcuffs would do more than every fine in Treasury’s history combined. End “too big to jail.” An institution cannot be too big to fail and too big to jail at the same time. If it is the first, it must be held to a higher standard, not a lower one. And if Bank of America will not act as America’s bank, review its charter. A national charter is a privilege granted on behalf of the American people. It should be conditioned on not moving money for the people trying to kill them. Secretary Bessent, you said yesterday that these actions send a clear message that even the biggest institutions are not above the law. With respect, the institution was never the problem. The people inside it are above the law, and they know it. Until that changes, I will keep writing letters like this one, and the next bank will keep paying the next fine. I gave up everything I had to stop this. I am asking you to use the power you have to finish it. Respectfully, Everett A. Stern HSBC Whistleblower Founder and Intelligence Director, Tactical Rabbit

Is there ONE, literally just ONE elected Democrat in Washington state willing to stand up for these girls?
BREAKING: Nearly half of the girls cross-country team in Camas, Washington, just forfeited their race. They refused to compete against a boy. This is bravery. Vote YES on I-638 to stand with them. Video: @KnownHeretic

SEATTLE NEEDS A PUBLIC SAFETY MAYOR. After a deadly weekend in Belltown, SPOG President Kent Loux is calling for what Seattle desperately needs: consequences for criminals, a functioning justice system, and the public safety tools officers need to do their jobs. The cameras were good enough for the World Cup. Why aren't they good enough for the people who live here? Our officers are doing their job. City leaders need to start doing theirs. Riley Gaines says she’s “beyond thrilled” that her lawsuit against the NCAA has been settled after more than four years. Gaines will receive an undisclosed amount in punitive damages and have her name restored as the sole finisher in her place in the 2000M freestyle. “They finally did the right thing,” Gaines told supporters at a rally outside the courthouse. “And I promise to use this settlement to further the cause of keeping women’s sports safe for women.” The NCAA hasn’t returned a request for comment. Share this everywhere so the country sees who actually won! Follow @mcafeenew for more drops.

New York City will require IDs to prove you live in the city in order to shop in the city owned grocery stores. So you need an ID to shop in the city’s stores, but it would be racist to require an ID to vote. Perfection.

Gary Payton says he refuses to let the Oklahoma City Thunder retire his jersey because it would be disrespectful to Seattle “Oklahoma City fans never watched me play a game in Oklahoma City. Who watched me play all the time, Seattle fans. Why would I disrespect the Seattle fans by going up there, getting in a celebration on a court, and let them get that when I've disrespected them” “I'll never do that ever in life. The fans in Seattle are the ones who supported me and got me to where I wanted to be. It's nothing against Oklahoma City. I never played one day in Oklahoma City, so I'm not doing that. It's only right for me to respect the people in Seattle for that, and I won't”

SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell and her husband have announced that they are donating ~$325 million of SpaceX stock to Trump Accounts for more than two million children across the U.S. Every one of those kids will now have a direct stake in a company whose mission is the most ambitious in human history: to make life multi-plantary 🚀
My husband and I are honored and thrilled to participate in the Invest America program and gift a share of our SpaceX stock to a Trump Account for each of more than two million children across our great nation. Every American child under 18 can benefit from having a Trump Account, but our gift specifically goes to the Accounts of children (ages 11-17) that live in areas with lower average household incomes with a bit more emphasis for those that live near our central Texas home. We have been fortunate in our careers and hope this gift encourages the next generation to continue the journey of enabling humanity to live and fly amongst the stars. A huge thanks to all that worked to bring this incredible program to life.

It’s really bugging me that Idaho (w a less than 3% unemployment rate and $1 cheaper gas) has a so much better booth than the sad and empty Washington (+5% unemployment and biz leaving) because our Democrat Governor choose not to participate in celebrating America! WA is a wonderful state! We should be celebrating and putting our best foot forward to attract biz and innovators. Not only are Gov Ferguson’s actions petty and unpatriotic, they are foolish and dumb for a state that is quickly growing a reputation as one of the worst in the country for small business friendliness due to left-wing socialist views of state and local policy makers. It’s not too late for Gov Ferguson to do the right thing - he should drop the partisan nonsense and personally come out to The Great American State Fair in DC on the 4th of July and man the Washington booth to celebrate our great country and our state. 🇺🇸

If the socialists had their way, Elon would have had his paypal profits taken and redistributed for the greater good. The world would never have seen Tesla, nor SpaceX. And the world wouldn't know it, because they were uncreated, and thus unseen. Imagine the companies that don't exist, because Washington destroyed them before they were born.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent just stunned the world: ANY DAMAGE Iran does to the Gulf nations will now be repaired using IRANIAN FUNDS seized by the US from Iranian accounts This man is legitimately an economic assassin...NOBODY wants to be on his bad side! "Any damage it inflicts on our allies in the Gulf will be paid for with funds extracted from Iranian Accounts. Any tolls paid to the Persian Gulf Strait Authority will be offset by funds extracted from their accounts. Every attack Iran launches will only deepen the economic and financial consequences it faces." 🔥🔥🔥

JEFF BEZOS JUST EMERGED FROM STEALTH WITH A $41 BILLION AI STARTUP CALLED PROMETHEUS $12 billion raised. Valued at $41 billion. Coming out of stealth today. The backers: Bezos personally, JPMorgan, BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, DST Global, and Arch Venture Partners. The mission: do for engineering and manufacturing what large language models did for text. Bezos is calling it an "artificial general engineer." Instead of training on words from the internet, Prometheus ingests data from the physical world to accelerate the manufacturing of skyscrapers, smartphones, jet engines, and everything in between. In Bezos' own words: "Something that today was going to take 100 engineers 10 years to build, if you can change that to taking 10 engineers one year to build, you're just going to get way more things built." This is Bezos' first CEO role since stepping down from Amazon in 2021. He's co-leading it with Vik Bajaj, former Google X executive. (Source Semafor)
