🎉 Local Stablecoins, Tokenization and a Global Naira I lay down my vision for what will be possible as local stablecoins and tokenization mature. I’m sure in 2 years, it will be obvious I over-promised; in 10 years, it will be a shame I under-promised. aleph.medium.com/local-stabl…

Launching Nigeria’s National Digital Alphanumeric Postcode System is the first step. Its true impact will come as we weave it into how we live, do business, connect with one another and deliver services across every corner of our country. Every postcode should mean something tangible: a customer reached, a delivery completed, a community better served, or emergency help arriving where it is needed. In the days, weeks and months ahead, my office will work with @NipostNgn and key actors across government, business and the technology community to embed this new national asset in our everyday lives. So to our developers and innovators, let’s build on it. The API ( You can find documentation here - docs.postcode.gov.ng) provides a foundation for integrating the postcode into the products and services Nigerians use every day. So go on and register your organisation: dashboard.postcode.gov.ng/re… and start building. To access the API: 1. Create an organisation account. 2. Submit your Know Your Business (KYB) documentation. 3. Request API access, specifying the access level you need. 4. Receive staging tokens to develop and test your integration. 5. Complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with NIPOST’s technical and compliance teams, where required. 6. Receive production tokens and go live. I also want to hear your ideas. How can we embed the alphanumeric postcode in commerce, transport, healthcare, agriculture, emergency response and community life? What would you build, and what problem would it solve?

Hello everyone, First, we’re truly sorry. Yesterday, many of you struggled to access the Bamboo app, fund your accounts or invest. We are also really disappointed that we couldn't give you a seamless experience to start off your investment journey into the Dangote Refinery IPO. We know we let you down, and we take full responsibility, and we're going to work to make it up to you. Our team worked hard to prepare for the increased demand but ultimately, our efforts fell significantly short. We wanted to let you know that the Bamboo app is fully back up and running. We restored the systems yesterday but wanted to make sure everything was working perfectly before making an announcement. We’ve also made changes to ensure our platform is stronger and better prepared moving forward. We know an apology doesn’t fix the frustration you experienced. Trust is earned through action, and we’re committed to earning yours back. To start, we’re going to cut all commissions across both US and NGX stocks by 20% starting tomorrow till the end of September. We also wanted to remind you that the Dangote IPO is running non-stop till the 13th of October. The price doesn’t change and the allocation will not be done on a first-come, first-served basis so there’s still time for you to get in. Thank you for your patience and for sticking with us. 💚 Richmond, CEO, Bamboo

Nigeria is officially the BEST performing stock market in Africa right now, and the Naira is the world’s SECOND-best performing currency this year, among those tracked by Bloomberg. How did we go from playing catch-up to leading the continent in 2026? Let’s break it down. 🧵👇🏾 #investbamboo #dreaminvestlive

WOW!! Two years in a row!!! Well done @investbamboo !! This is disruption happening in plain sight. All the old players are still hand-wringing and wasting time. Using archaic platforms and processes when the market has moved on without them. I think I'll write a business case.
